I had the 2019 falcors and with the mini disc they wasn't as responsive on torsionally stiffer boards and had a lot of flex before it would flex the board. now I have the 2022 atlas which is great. would would say the new 2022 falcors are now stiffer and perfect match up with the Mega Merc. I have the 2022 mercury currently but next winter looking to upgrade. thank you for the review and the Mega Merc review!

I had the same experience with the older falcors on my Swift. If you were very attentive to how you setup your turns it was a trenchdigger but you couldn't relax on that combo and expect the board to turn easy...and the Swift is an easy turning board! I use the older falcors on softer boards and they are great there.

I'm trying to descide between the mini disk of the Falcor, and a full size disk of the Atlas. I ride a Wired Recon directional twin camber. I mainly ride within the resort and it always seems like I'm in moguls when in the back bowles at Lake Louise, or steeper runs at most other places, so Im always turning. I'm currently using the Bent Metal Transfer with a mini disk from my Hyper which does well, but feel like I need a little stiffer binding for this board. Thanks!!!

Both are amazing choices - but , the crew here has been leaning Mini Disk a lot lately!

We have not rode any K2 so cant speak to that - but this binding on any board will only improve your riding!!!

Purchased these bindings, size large as I wear a 13. Discovered that the base plate is not adjustable and even though I have a 26.4 waist, I have ONE INCH overhang, about a half inch on either side of the board. How could they make a size large that huge? It’s absolutely absurd that there’s no adjustment, the bindings are useless unless you have like a 30 waste board! Purchased from local rep so return was not an option😢 The review should include the fact that this adjustment is unavailable, it is a very important aspect. I guess the answer is sizing down? First and last time I will purchase union.

I held a pair today, honestly , the quality control has major issues over there, went in cash in hand to buy these things, looked at them, saw the highback half painted with crappy paint transition, Chinese injection molding in the foot bed with a ton of imperfections, the tacky rough paint job, and even the forged carbon backbone was roughly cut and just seemed fake, I was honestly embarrassed for union that they put out a pro model that looks like a Chinese knock off of their own product . Won't be buying union anymore, Literally the most expensive binding on the shelf at my local shop, the finish job was worse than every other binding on the shelf , really REALLY disappointing

@@cjm321 cool well maybe a junk pair got through qc because mine are sick so light and ratchets are best ive had i couldn't find a thing wrong with them if I tried
