2022 Valmet 911.3 Valmet 365 forest harvester

Have been playing around with settings getting harvester head to tilt up a little faster (feels like gamling changing settings).
But feels like I'm at a decent pace for a happy amature now.
Just had the camera sticking out from my pocket and video feels like it shakes worst then actually sitting there. Might need to look at another way to mount the camera?

Nice video. I just love the Komatsu harvester heads. Looks so angry beast. Are you from Sweden?

Yes I'm from Sweden. Quite far up north. Might be mean looking and very effective at processing trees. Have alot of video from last winter I hope to find time to edit and put out some new content. But the windfallen trees last autumn took a toll on me many hours for very little yield.

@danilehti the cold hit quite early making logging life easier but a little to much snow at the end had few windfallen trees after the storm Ingunn that had to be taken care of in the deep snow.

Have had it up closer in other videos but kind of wanted more of my point of view. But apart from the slow delimbing knifes and the rattle from some stuff for sun curtains it runs really great right now.

Yes only the upper knifes and they are only slow if I just try to close them. As soon as I give order to cut or feed they snap closed really fast. If anyone have any suggestions I would appreciate it. But have decided to keep going some unless it gets worse before digging into the hydraulics to see what is causing it.

What I suspect also. But kind of odd that it snaps into function when cutting or feeding. As said going to try to finish logging for this winter before looking at it and hope I don't do any extra damage from running it some more.

В 2022 году, это уже конечно Komatsu. Чем не нравится по сравнению с Valmet, это пятаковые фитинги, раньше были конические JIG, а теперь BSP, которые вечно текут. Второе. Головка 365 самая неудачная в ремонте и обслуживании. К тому же ей трудно обрабатывать кривые стволы. Насчет этого 360.2 и 370.2 намного лучше

Had to use Google translate to try to understand. Don't speak Russian. The harvester head, 365, does not use conical hydraulic couplings. It used the ORFS with a flat mounting point with an O-ring to seal. And I can agree that some twisted ugly birch can be hard to feed through the harvester head but don't really have much to compare too. And as for the rest of the machine and the forwarder they use JIC couplings on the hydraulic hoses. How they compare to the others you mention I can't really say I have good knowledge about the differences. Have a good day.

This gets translated to: "Very shallow forest" Guess you mean small forest? And some areas getting clear cut are a little small but some of the places have had a lot of rotten trees even if small.
