I have one and I love it! Bought it in 2020. Great ride so far! Only problem is that the Volvo dealership is way across town and there is not that many of them in my Particular city. Always at least a two to three week wait.

Great review..Just FYI.. interior is not "suede" (which is the backside of leather), rather it is "nubuck", (which is the frontside of leather...but sanded or buffed) 😊

Hi Ty. Nice review. Several things: Sadly, the Lava Red interior is discontinued for 2022. As you could feel by driving the car, there is a very big difference in HP and Torque, particularly in the mid range with the Polestar option. According to Volvo, the difference with Polestar tuning for the XC40 is as follows: Performance Original Optimized Power Mid-Range (hp) 172 199 Power Mid-Range (kW) 126 147 Torque Mid-Range (lb/ft) 258 295 Power and Torque Mid-Range max (rpm) 2500 - 3500 2500-5700 Power Peak (hp) 249 252 Power Peak (kW) 183 186 Power Peak max (rpm) 5500 5700 Torque (lb/ft) 258 295 Torque Peak max (rpm) 1800 - 4800 3000 Acceleration 0-100 km/h (s) 6.4 6.3 Also, the Polestar tuning has no effect on suspension in this model Volvo. But R models are a bit stiffer and have less body roll than the other XC40 option packages. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the video! We just bought one around noon today. Almost exactly the same, a 2022, XC40 T-5 R-design. Some of the software may be a little different. Less than 24 hours in and 100 miles on it, but we love it! Learned a few things we didn't know but we've got time to slowly learn them...
