Some of us in the US do appreciate the touches that come with the German R line. We only get the front and side badge. The tail lights and front lights are not the same. Wow and the real exhaust. It's also much appreciated it. Why the fake ones?

This isn't an R Line, this is a full R Arteon like the Golf R. The US only gets the R Line model which is why it's different. Only R models get the rear R badge and real exhaust tips. R line models only have cosmetic differences while R models get cosmetics plus engine and suspension upgrades over the R Line model Arteon.

Roughly ever decade VW manages to build a great car, and shortly after, they all get cancelled. When once comes out, you better get it while the getting's good. The Rs need Brembo brakes. The factory brakes look wimpy. But I'd prefer body colored caliper to VWs signature blue. Particularly because it limits the available colors.
