Girl every time I watch your videos I’m truly floored by how hard you work! You go girl! Your barn is so lucky to have you as their manager!

It’s always crazy watching high end barns! Grooming/tacking is my favorite part❤️ snazzy in a pinch but I definitely prefer my time out of the saddle

Yeah I definitely don’t get to do as much grooming as I want to!! I love the time out of the saddle too ♥️

There are natural supplements like Brewers Yeast and Slippery Elm to heal and prevent Ulcers. Products like Ulcer Guard while effective short term, can disrupt the acid production in the gut causing an imbalance when they come off it.

Brrr I lived in Kentucky for a time and you reminded me what it’s like to be dealing with horses in the cold! I agree with others, your manager is lucky to have you; I love the way you look after the barn and the horses. TFS!

Brrr i was getting cold even just watching the vlog 🥶 What are some symptoms of ulcers in horses?
@RideandRoam2 жыл бұрын
Great question! The biggest one I see is girthy. Also low appetite or weight loss. There’s so many things, I feel like behavioral I watch horses and if they seem off or grumpy and no source of pain I scope for ulcers since sadly they are quite common for horses.

What’s your opinion on apple cider vinegar for horse gut health?
@RideandRoam2 жыл бұрын
Based on what I’ve read by Cornell it’s really only useful in the prevention of enteroliths, otherwise I wouldn’t use it as it creates more acidic fluid. Happy to chat more and share my readings, dm me on Instagram !

This cold weather almost made me quit horses yesterday and basically my whole life so I am rethinking buying a horse farm where we have snow and crazy cold weather. 🥶🥶🥶

Yeah if I bought a farm it wouldn’t be in NY!

Where do you get the vit e supplement ? I’m currently feeding 1000u capsules but I don’t feel like I see enough (or any) difference in her!

I’ve been ordering on chewy! www.chewy.com/kentucky-equine-research-nano-e/dp/230518

I would definitely give it a try if your horse is vitamin e deficient. My boss did research to find the most bio available supplement and this was the best one! And I feel like it works!

@@RideandRoam thank you, I’ll def give it a try!!! She’s forage based with balanced minerals but I always feel like something can be improved and like trying new things , fellow nutrition nerd ! 🤦🏻♀️
