There is no other big agency in Korea that does this other than SM, making family albums, family concerts, world tour concerts with family and other things to do with family. that's why SM is very famous and much loved with their amazing vocals and talents. because of that many SM artists have become role models for other idols in Korea, SM taught me not only to love one of their idols but invited me to love all their idols and it has proven that I really love them, I hope the SMTOWN concert comes to my country and I will go quickly to buy tickets!! 😭💗

The Cure is an insane collab. Kangta from H.O.T (1996), BoA (2000), U-Know from TVXQ (2003), Leeteuk from Super Junior (2005), Taeyeon from Girls Generation (2007), Onew from SHINee (2008), Suho from EXO (2012), Irene from Red Velvet (2014), Taeyong from NCT 127 (2016), Mark from NCT Dream (2016), Kun from WayV (2019) and Karina from aespa (2020). I included their debut year too so you can get a sense of how far this goes. Literally the only SM groups not represented in this song are the ones that have left SM in their entirety. But imagine if Victoria from f(x), Bada from S.E.S or Eric from Shinhwa were on this song too. Hot & Cold just triggers the most severe bisexual panic in me :D "I don't know who to focus on" Mood. Kai and Jeno ARE hot, you're allowed to admit it 😜 You probably know which groups these four are from so I'm not gonna bore you with that. Jet is an absolute banger. LOVE the male/female harmonisations. Here we have Eunhyuk from Super Junior, Hyoyeon from Girls Generation, Taeyong from NCT 127, Jaemin from NCT Dream, Giselle and Winter from aespa and Sungchan from NCT but he doesn't have a subunit yet. Hopefully next year! Priority is just vocal heaven. I haven't gotten to the music of TVXQ or Max Changmin yet but I've been going through Taeyeon's albums over the past few weeks and I think she's eclipsing Taemin as my favourite soloist.

The reason there are so many people singing on The Cure is because they're all the leaders of SM's groups. Since you're not familiar with Changmin's voice I really recommend checking out his solo stuff. My favourites are Chocolate and Maniac. Technically Devil is the title track but Devil, Maniac and Fever were all promoted so there was a MV for Devil and Maniac and a performance video for Fever.

Something is different abt Winter’s voice in this SMCU album. I felt 2 yrs being rookie really helped honing in on her not only voice but also skills! I remember her breathing and pronunciation in the beginning wasnt this full and perfected. Not only that, as a result of this growth, she brings out a different color from her already wonderful and colorful voice platter. I’m excited about the growth and what she has in coming for us in 2023/2024!!!

My favorite big agency for sure because they got most of the best vocals from each era . CHANGMIN and TAEYEON are the pionner in SM and all the other are amazing . i love all the songs but my favorite is probably Priority .

Taeyeon, SM's pride. She alone can beat popular groups be it boy or girl groups by herself. win a Daesang by herself, the idol of idols and many more. SM will NEVER let go of her

@@danissegomez7953 she is of course and SM never let go they're artist . so far only (f)x had to disband because they got no activity as a group. but if you want a long career i think SM is the best for an idol. they're not only in big3 they're the number one agency . but i don't agree with one thing even if Taeyeon is super good by herself .she can't handle big GG or BG . and as a soloist she's behind IU . i think than IU is untouchable as a female soloist she star very young and win everything not only as idol but also as actress .

@@fabricemaire4433 im going to sound biased since Taeyeon is my ult but there are times that Taeyeon even won against Twice in music show when Twice start to gain massive popularity. And this year Taeyeon is undeniably the best soloist act with INVU success. Also she did won daesang (digital) along with BTS (physical) 2 years ago against the newer and many groups that are at the top right now, and she did that as a soloist. Taeyeon IS in the same league with IU and BoA since they're the only female soloist that are thriving this high in history of kpop

@@icetro5145 XD it's ok to be biased i can be to . and yes i agree with you if we talk about this year she 's the best soloist INVU is a huge banger for sure . and yes all old kpop fan like me know how popular she's . now she's probably even more popular than SNSD as a group . because she never really had a hiatus as a solo she alway's drop new songs and she's active on tv a lot ( amazing saturday , Queendom 2 etc..) . and yes even if like i said IU is untouchable as a soloist (if we talk about her achievement) as a legend of kpop she's on the same league than IU and BOA

Great reaction as usual. When you mentioned Priority having three instead of the more predictable duet, one thing is SM sometimes avoids 1:1 male/female duets. They also want to get as many fan fav combinations as possible. So Max and Taeyeon as legendary powerhouse vocals would be fine, but adding Winter’s sweet higher voice brings youth. Older and newer fans will be happy. Also you said you haven’t heard Max Changmin! You could listen to oldies from TVXQ, but really just react to his recent solo, Devil and you’ll hear his excellent voice. You will love it.

There have been a number of 1:1 duets in SMTown shows but they generally have a family vibe at SM, generation to generation Plus all three have been trained by the great Yoo Young-Jin so it really works (also D.O. but he had no availability for this album)

Priority is probably consist of YYJ's students (minus D.O) hahha. people have been crazy to see YYJ's students in the same song for years because he rarely took trainees to be his students, and when he did, the said trainees would definitely debut 100% lol. YYJ is SM Director now.

GIRLS ON TOP (boa ,taeyeon ,irene ,wendy ,karina, winter ) also comeback in january. SM is the best for that so far that the only agency who can created a dream team of they're best female idol (GOT) and they're best male idols (SUPERM) from various group from various gem together .

Actually GOT group has members which can be changed. It's not a fixed members group. Like nct u. Irene can be a part too. But as far as the current line up it's seulgi and he missed hyoyeon which is fine 🙂

I like certain forms of dance music, r/b and rhythmic Top 40. This k-pop is like a melting pot of those genres, and I will say The Cure is like We Are The World the '23 K-Pop Version and Hot / Cold is the perfect rhythmic Top 40/ r/b hybrid song anyone can dance to. Hopefully every American listener can give K-Pop a listen, a shot through these many videos on KZbin. What BTS and BlackPink started is now a global sensation that new groups are continuing the trend. Looks promising!

For me hot & cold is the best thing of this álbum.I believe everyone was expecting a song like monster or girls for this unit ,but this was so fresh and cute 😻I love it. Showing that you don't need a heavy/dark song to show their are all ACES. Their also look and sound so good together. Karina voice is SOOOO pleasant ,I hope see more of her and Seulgi together.And Kai ... WELL , as says Giselle quoting P.hilton "that's hot " 🤣 and all I can do is 13:50 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
