I have a 2011 Zuma with 17k miles. I did an iron butt with it last year, which was 1000 miles in 23 hours 45 minutes. It was a beating, but I had a blast. Three months ago, I rode it from Dallas to pikes Peak and back. I will say it didn’t like the altitude and steep grades. Max speed was as low as 15 mph. I’m like you and my Zuma gets more use than any of my other toys.

You can also get side crash bars, then pit highway pegs on those

I own three ruckus. First one bought in 2016. I love them. I load them up and use them to do short camping trips. However, they are just so dang slow I ride them less and less because I’m concerned about getting run over. May have something to do with how aggressive drivers are post Covid. What he said is 100% correct. 35mph you’re lucky with a tailwind. Thinking real hard about the zuma due to its utility and bigger engine. I have a Yamaha xt250 dual sport and it’s proven to be very reliable. I still, always gravitate to my ruckus. Some think I’m crazy, but I just enjoy the scooters a bit more.

They are great bikes. I have had multiple bikes. 3 very nice harleys. I love my Zuma more than all of them.

I’m in Crosby and might go get one again. I’ve had the older version before. Had a ruckus as well. The ruckus looks great and live the glass headlights and stuff but they are issues outside of a neighborhood

I have a 2019 125 with 10,000 miles. What I like about all reviews of the new Zuma is how everyone overlooks the ugly front end carrier thing. What an eye sore.

What does a service cost on one of those? I have several bikes, including Lance 125 and a Vespa 300 scooters. I tend to put about 10,000 miles a year on both scooters combined. I understand that the engine in then new design Zuma 125 is super complicated and service is really expensive.
@everydaybladesinc Жыл бұрын
The service cost was minimal. I did it myself. Maybe 20-$30 at most.
@JoeHan268Ай бұрын
How much did you pay for it? I went to the Yamaha dealer yesterday for a pricing. The website list price was 3200, but somehow it got to 5k OTD. Not sure if they were trying to scam me as I am new.

I have a 22 model with over 13k miles. I love it. However I'm 205lbs. I have the clutch spacer removed and my max speed flat out ,level ,calm 62-63 tucked. So your telling me you can hit 65? Sir I must call bs. Show me the video, and I will trade it for a new 24 model. I hope your correct btw.

I’m 6’6” my top speed is 60mph. My wife is a lot smaller than me and she can do 65 in optimal conditions

my aircooled one with 30000 miles tops out at 54mph via GPS
@DyLemmaOG Жыл бұрын
It's all about the weights. Honda ruckus is actually pretty peppy if you put 5g slider weights in. The 7g stock rollers are way too heavy for the ruckus.
@jrnumex928611 ай бұрын
i have a 2019 zooms and yep all u say except no way on the 65 mph as'22 same enhine or what? i also have a ruckus and for city or countrty rd driving, best chill ride there is.
@everydaybladesinc11 ай бұрын
My wife is a small person and she regularly does 65mph. On hers.
@BobsZuma9 ай бұрын
2019 is a gen 2 with a 52.4mm bore and a 57.9mm stroke at 10:1. The 2022- is a gen 3, changed the bore to 52.0mm and stretched the stroke to 58.7mm at 11.2:1. The final gears are also different. I've had mine at 63mph, I can see 65 if I pushed it. The 2019 is an air cooled and the 2022 is liquid due to the extra heat produced by the 11.2:1 compression.

Looking to get one for my wife and I, my only concern is about the weight capacity. Do you think they handle well with a passenger? we are going to be towing it on the back of an RV, only using it for camping runs, etc. Not a daily, Im 215lb, wife is 150lb
@everydaybladesinc Жыл бұрын
I don’t think riding 2 up on this scooter is a good idea. Maybe every once in a while but not often. It’s not big enough
@jessesmith1181 Жыл бұрын
I have seen many people ride these 2 passenger with no problems at all. I was riding today on a kymco agility 125cc between 45 amd 50 mph easily with my son who weighs about 150# and I weigh about 210 so 360# combined and I didn't even notice the extra weight. It accelerated just fine. I believe it would have went close to 60mph fairly easily on flat ground. At 45 and 50 I still had more than 1/2 throttle left
