Yesterday, we had 7.5 cm of snow here in Chicago. This year for us so far very little snow. It is hard to imagine the type of snow you experience falling so often during your winter!

Thank you for your comment. Japan is one of the world's heaviest snowfall areas. And I live in an area of Japan that is designated as a special heavy snowfall area. I would be happy if you could see various scenes of dealing with snow.
Sitting here listening to the Revolver album by the Beatles and watching you work. I feel a little guilty for all of the hard work that you must do. Work is not bad so long as you are happy and healthy and you seem to have both. Please take care and know that we are thinking of you here in California!

Thank you for your comment. It always encourages me. So you need not feel guilty, etc. The Beatles Revolver is a great album. I love it too. Music connects the world. I will always be your friend. Thank you.
Where is all that water coming from? It’s my first time seeing the water running in the street.

Thanks for your comments on my winter video. I am writing about the water you are wondering about. In my area, we get about 1 meter of snow in one night at most. The snowplows come early in the morning to remove the snow. When the snowplows push the snow to the edge of the road, they sometimes drop chunks of snow into the irrigation canal. That is inevitable. The water that is held back there overflows into the street. But eventually the snow will melt and the water will make its way back to the canal and there will be no problem.

Thanks for the encouragement. I am doing well for now.
Thanks for your comment. The snowplows sometimes drop chunks of snow into the canals. This causes the canal to temporarily overflow and become flooded.

Thank you for your comment. I am so glad you are interested in snow.
In the first portion where was all the running water in the street coming from? 🥰🇺🇸

Thanks for the question. A snowplow is plowing in front of our house before this work. The road ahead is slightly curved, so when it snows a lot, the snowplows drop the snow into the river next to the road. The snow causes the water in the river, which had been held back by the snow, to overflow onto the road. I am working to return that water to the river.
I am sorry. It is difficult for me to understand your English expression. At this time, the snow had clogged upstream of the canal and the water overflowed onto the road. I am working on putting that water back into the canal again. That is quite hard for me.
