It's making me laugh out loud watching this back LMAO. I try to minimize util buying bc I also have the bad habit of panic using util or being killed with util out all the time. So much more work to be done! Thanks for hosting low elo coaching! It was fun! P.S. 52:06 the half scoping is from the panic pressing of all buttons. XD

I would say in low elo it’s better to waste your util every round than never use it. So many people develop of habit of trying to save it that they never use it. Like smokes for example, burn em as much as you want, except on atk wait for your team to commit and then drop them. If you see your duelist go in but the rest of the team is standing around maybe wait a bit.

How was the experience playing on stream? How many rounds did it take for you to get used to it?

2:28:55 I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked hoojs content, especially the vod channel. When I want to learn, I can. When I want to laugh, I do. It’s a great mix and makes every video worth watching. From all the videos I watched the Dino nuggy video was the one that got me excited to watch more. Not because I love nuggets but because i play games to have fun. This channel is FUN. Fun day Fridays, In houses, skogg, charity stream, watch parties, normal vod reviews, the underpeel league, and the ever evolving stream with cool new technical features. I don’t know another channel like this one and that’s amazing. I set a goal to hit plat before I start hanging out in the livestreams. I’m slowly getting there, and i am very excited for the day to come. Sorry for the long comment. All of that to say the emphasis on entertainment while teaching worked to get me hooked. Thanks for the great work brother hooj. Sys

2:12:16 fun fact about the origin double spacing after punctuation. It started during the era of type writers. Since the characters were monospaced (that is, they all had the same space allocated for each letter, punctuation mark, and symbol), people started putting two spaces at the end of every sentence as a way to be able to see the ends and starts of sentences easier. This is why boomers, who may have grown up typing on typewriters rather than computers, have this habit. I think my generation has this habit because in older versions of Microsoft Word, I swear you were able to double press spacebar to put a period and a space at the end of the sentence and start a new one; although I have not been able to replicate this in newer versions. In any case, I am just commenting for the algorithm, love the content Banana Man.

I honestly don’t blame hooj if he’s not having the greatest of times playing in-houses with low elo players. it must be rather frustrating. as a low elo player, though, these are super helpful to watch & see all the mistakes we have a tendency to make. it’d be kind of cool, though, instead of the typical in-houses for low elo, to have 2 teams of low elo players being coached by 2 separate coaches (i.e. hooj & dopai). idk how feasible that is, though. might be more tolerable lmao

If you look at the lichess weekly rapid rating distribution, you see what hooj describes but interestingly enough it's way less prevelant at the highest and lowest ranks. I wonder why that would be 🙃

Will you be releasing a video on how to aim consistently horizontally? Or is it just something that comes with time?

He has a video called Valorant aim training playlists that don't suck on his main channel. Iirc the first drill is the horizontal aim one.

There is also angle snapping which sounds metal af but is a simple setting in a program called raw accel. You can look for some videos about it if you're interested but I know everyone isn't. I just have a unique living situation that makes aiming completely horizontal an issue for me so I use it to make it more straight hopefully once I move I can practice on doing it without

I’m stuck silver 2 right now and it does admittedly feel coin flippy. But I think it’s just laziness. Some people have mics and are sitting up and some aren’t. And that’s literally been the difference in wining and losing lately.
@justcallmesiv11 ай бұрын
Remember hooj's rule. You can only take this stance if you without a doubt are blameless in your gameplay. I'm not saying you aren't as I don't know and that would be unfair not to mention rude af lol but just always think about what extra you can do despite lazy players that can prop them up and get a win off of them anyway.
