I think he wants to be paid for views on twitch vods, and you can't directly edit in bleeps to prevent a vod from being demonetized. I don't think streamers even make much revenue from vods though.

@@PianoHypnoshroom I don't think streamers get paid for twitch vods, at least not for the ads on vods. DD uploads parts of his vods onto youtube though and he tries to cater the vids to youtube's rules. That's the general reason why so many streamers upload their own content as an extra, but smaller revenue stream. ETA: It's also one of the reasons why DD (and DK, etc.) bring up Among Us Academy in a negative sense sometimes because he takes their (+Steve's) content and benefits from it, but it hurts DD's (and the other members who upload content) engagement at times.
