Hello Mo and Dave. What a great video. The drone video was exceptional! I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. I also want to say thank you for your “shout out” to me. Covid was very severe due to my lack of an immune system. I’ve been in and out of the hospital all month and due to go back on Tuesday. Just be well and keep the videos coming. I appreciate all you do for your subscribers.

Good morning, Gary, we hope you get better soon and send our best wishes for a speedy recovery. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. We were thinking of you as we cycled past the swollen streams and tumbling waterfalls. The drone was fun to use, but surprisingly difficult to fly in the Scottish weather. We hope to get more proficient with it in the months to come. We were certainly trying to keep the blue side up :) Stat safe, stay strong, Gary and keep the blue side up. Thinking of you, Dave and Mo

You both smashed it, well done Dave & Mo. I was out on Sunday on the bike too, the weather forecast said sunny all day, inspired by Saturday's weather, which was perfect, off I went on Sunday morning 6am start, in the same area too, Callander to Killin then on to Aberfeldy was the plan, but turned back at Loch Tay as the freezing fog didn't lift, it was blooming freezing, 🥶 ATB.

Good morning, that was a good distance you covered on the bike. It has been a while since I last cycled through Glen Ogle; such a lovely glen. It was cold when we were out too. Freezing fog is just the worst for cycling, the cold getting into your bones and preventing you from warming up, no matter how hard you pedal. Hopefully, we will get some fine, crisp autumn weather soon. ATB, Dave and Mo

This is one of those trips you pencil in for a re-do in the springtime perhaps, but what an achievement, especially in the howling rain. Great to view familiar country through the lens!

Hello Andrew, yes, it would be good to do a longer version of this trip in better weather. Such a lovely area and so much to explore. We thoroughly enjoyed our mini-tour, but it was a fair tussle at times, especially with the strong winds. ATB, Dave and Mo

Good morning, Owen. I was well and truly 'telt', when we got back to the car. Mo's dry clothes were in the boot, behind the bike carrier, which is a faff to remove, especially in the hammering rain. I ventured that we just put the car heater on and dispense with a change of clothes. Well, that didn't go down well and I was telt in no uncertain terms :). ATB, Dave and Mo

Been out of the loop for a while with real life rearing its ugly head, so catching up on yours and Mo's adventures. Great trip fantastic drone footage Scotland is beautiful even when it's raining and blowing a hoolie. Oh and yes Boring in Oregon does have a sign twinning it with Dull in Scotland. 👍

Hi Martin, we contemplated bringing the trip forward by a day or two. In the end we decided to roll with the weather. The tailwind on the final day was both helpful and frightening in equal measure. We wound our way through a fair bit of tree debris on the roads. One of these days we will enjoy a cycle tour in calm weather. ATB, Dave and Mo

I must have missed this latest video but glad I've watched it now. That looked like a real tough trip, all credit for not giving up. Although it's been said there is no bad weather only bad clothing I'm not convinced. When it's cold wet and windy it's hard to stay warm. Did the mini hot water bottles keep your feet warm? Thanks for sharing another nice video.

Hi Colin, good to hear from you and glad you enjoyed the vid. The trip was planned a few weeks in advance, with a hotel reservation in Aberfeldy. When we saw the forecast we did consider postponing the trip but our hotel reservation was nonrefundable. So, we decided to 'go for it', the decision made easier in the knowledge that the worst of the weather would present as a tailwind. Our day going into the wind through Glen Lyon was a bit unexpected but didn't prove too difficult. The water bottles worked very well indeed. I've used some form of sleeping bag heater since boyhood, usually just a rock warmed by the fire and wrapped in a sweater, or a Nalgene bottle filled with hot water. The wee hot water bottles proved to be quite efficient, taking the chill off the bags when we climbed in and retaining some warmth for a decent length of time. The diminutive size of the bottles meant we used very little gas in boiling the water. I'm thinking about trying one as a hand warmer, to assist with breaking camp on the really cold mornings, when numb fingers slow everything down. (I used chemical hand warmers when I worked in the big hills overseas but was never very happy with them). ATB, Dave and Mo

Good morning, Robert, thanks for tuning in. Mo is getting stronger and stronger on the bike. I'm struggling to keep up :) She does like to fly past and yell out, "eat my dust". The biggest challenge of our route was the weather. The tail wind made the last day possible; not sure how we would have get on peddling into that wind! Peace and love to you too, Dave and Mo

Good morning, Harry. Great to hear from you. I know you are a motivated outdoorsman and love tuning into your adventures. The wind is still howling here, throwing rain against the windows, so a perfect day to catch up on your recent vids. Give our best to Helen. ATB, Dave and Mo
