2015-16 Upper Deck series 1 Hobby Boxes were $75 Canadian on release. For all formats your odds are way down now and WAY more expensive! Odds were WAY easier to pull a McDavid than they are to pull a Bedard.

What I have trouble understanding is how sellers on Ebay can presell for $1000 to $2000 a card for Bedard that they don’t actually have in hand…is that not a violation of Ebay’s T&C?

I snagged a Bedard Young Guns out of a tin today, was the last young guns of the tin. Absolutely stoked!

I opened 10 tins. Cost was $550 total and no shipping. 4 yg/tin and ended up with 40. One dub of Carlsson. One Bedard but it ain’t a 9, and the Bedard/Leo checklist. If you were after base ygs and not the annoying parallel scam then tins were the way to go when they first appeared as a pre-order. I’ve got 5 other tins arriving today from a different supplier. QC is horrible on the PC insert. 36 of them all with identical surface damage and all from different packs tins. At first I thought I hit an easter egg ovie 79’ OPC parallel to the sparkle - which aren’t damaged

Yup I'm that lunatic that you read about that preordered a case of O PEE CHEE and Series 2 just sit on in hopes he becomes Connor Mcdavid. But that wasn't good enough because then I ripped some OPC and pulled a CB Riokie Premier Rainbow 01/75 in the last pack of the 144 packs I had. Last pack magic is real boys. I'll probably buy a couple boxes of Series 2 tomorrow just because I do enjoy ripping packs. Happy hunting

Opened two boxes that I picked up tonight. They were almost out btw. Pulled a Bedard/Carlsson checklist in one box. And a Bedard UD Portrait,lol. But I also got Fraser Minten,Tye Kartye,Logan Cooley YG Canvas,Connor Zary and a few more of the top young guns. I was stoked as hell to pull the Cooley Canvas YG. Everyone calm down….theres more than just the Bedsy young gun to make this a fun rip. Also pulled an Elvis Merzlikins clear cut AND his Exclusive in the same box 😂

Picked up a hobby and 4 tins. Tins have a pack of 3 Dazzlers. Got Bedard orange from that. Pulled the YG checklist also 3 Bedard portraits. Pretty decent I thought. Also YG canvas checklist of Hughes and Cooley and a Hughes YG canvas. Pretty bad tho for set builders like me. I didn't even complete the base set. Had 3 double YGs.

Quality was fine on mine, box cost $250 CAD with tax. Mine was a presale raffle thing. AFAIK I didn't get a wildcard, unless someone can better explain what it means. I got no numbered cards, but if you read it as ANY other "ratio'd" card...then that could just mean 1 extra insert? Which is pretty lame. If that's the cash I'm sure I got some extra thing. I quite like the Deep Roots and the PC, might try and buy the full sets of those. But the Instinctive and Ecliptic...come on, they're basically the same. The picture I saw was Jason Robertson and the Ecliptic card was green. Every single one I got was blue, so were the Instinctives. I got some sparkle ones of each, but it's really nothing to write home about and the two inserts just look way too similar. Managed to get a Leo Carlsson from my hobby box and a Matt Tompkins, I only mention that one cuz I had 1 blaster as well that had Poitras (thumbs up) annnnnd Matt Tompkins lol. Beat the odds, but got another Tompkins. Oh well. Probably my only 2 purchases unless I find reasonably priced blasters, or tins, I'm not paying $100 for a tin tho so that's unlikely. I find that hard to believe. A player of his demand will keep boxes at its current price or higher. No way it’s dropping with the way boxes are selling and the demand. 90s boxes that were once 5$ are now 45-50$. There maybe sales, not because there’s no demand but for the product but just to have a sale. If your refering to Lafrenieres year as an example, yes, cuz he flopped. But bedard is a legit phenom. Mcdavids boxes and Crosby boxes through the roof. Even at half the price is still a substantial gain. Key rookie years retain demand

Unfortunately very little upside with this product and UD knows that that's why the hype was tp bedard or bust and this will be very evident when boxes become 375 to 450 on the shelf and it's cost to aquire is out of reach and the yg drops to 500 which it will

Depends if your a legit seller (window shop or long time online source). Then you can get an ST-4 with your biz id and purchase product for so much less tax free because you’re collecting tax on your sales. To not sell and open or hold them would be fraud, unless you pay for what you open.
