Great video. I liked the detail that many people leave out!

Thanks for sharing, man. It's much appreciated. I bought my new Foreman Rubicon last Thursday. I live in the city but I have a deer lease and my RV in the woods. I put 15 miles on it today. The only squawk I have so far is it downshifting when I'm in semi-automatic mode. If I have it in second gear I want it to stay there but it will downshift back to 1st when you get off the gas. Not too crazy about that. This isn't a deal breaker but annoying. Another thing I found unusual is the fact the dealership told me if THEY (or any other Honda shop) does not perform the after-break-in service it could void my warranty. say What? yeah, that's what I was told. The valve lash is my concern but no ticks and hiccups of any kind so far. I'm perfectly capable of setting the lash myself. I have done this before countless times. 6 tho on the intake and 9 on the exhaust. Not a big deal at all. But if my bike's first service is "not in their system" it could be a problem I'm told. I'm not really buying that story but we shall see. btw, the cost of the first service is roughly 300 bucks. again, absorbently high IMHO. Cheers from N/W Louisiana.

Why are you taking the push pins out to remove that cover their not attached to it , just wondering
@mudbanditoffroad6643 Жыл бұрын
Lol, you are exactly right. I'm so used to my old 500 where I had to remove them. I realized that afterwards, plastics are definitely easier to remove on the 520!

Hey, I just bought this Honda myself. Can you please do a front end alignment video? I like the way you work on yours and would really appreciate it.

was yours not centered from the get go? If I center my bars I'm headed to the right side of the road. I have 16 miles on my 2024.

@@radioace318la yep, same thing. When I had the handlebar straight it heads to the right. But got it all straight now. Thanks for the reply.

hi there , the ticking valves is not the problem with it ... usually is the over tight do to the push rod valve , my was a bit tight on my first 100 miles , enjoy that machine !🙌

I use starting fluid to clean parts. Fast and cheap. Won't hurt you unlike brake clean.

great and helpfull vid. I have problem. oil leaks from the filter cover. there is only a slight pressure on the cover but enough that a screw is needed to make the cover snug against the block. I have study your vid in c. using a screwdriver to hold the spring in place. but no luck stopping the leak. any thoughts?

Do you recommend changing the front and rear differential oil at this time of the first service?

Hi sir how many miles did you have for the 20 hrs ? In my manual they specify either that or a 100 miles so for me it's probably gonna be around 8 hrs ! I got a 2024 like yours but a bit darker for the blue .Thanks for the video !

Any issues running bigger/heavier tires with the dct? Any idea how much your tires weigh?
@mudbanditoffroad6643 Жыл бұрын
No issues at all! I was running the same tires on a 2011 500 DCT before we got this 520.

You don’t need to pull any push pins . It pops off and back on
