Certainly this passage is a harsh indictment against the false idea that God's words were only inspired in the original autographs (which all perished obviously). While the sword did not dull, Satan Publishing, Inc. manufactured a bunch of garbage swords.

Is this daughter of Pharaoh (Moses Egyptian Mother) the same mentioned in 1 Ch 4:18 named Bithia who was married to Mered, son of Ezra?

@juliaanayamar6918 Thanks for the thoughtful question. I don't think so because in 1Ch 4:18, Bithiah is married to Mered, the son of Ezra, which does not seem to be the Egyptian line. Hope this helps.

Paul NEVER eliminated the WORKS of God! Act 26:19 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: 20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance. Please notice... -Paul obeyed the "vision" (reference to the events he experienced in Acts 9:3-18)... -He "shewed" those in Damascus first (see Acts 9:19b-22)... -Then "shewed" those at Jerusalem (see Acts 9:26-29)... -Then "shewed" those throughout the coasts of Judea (see Acts 9:30 - Caesarea to Tarsus -- Paul was sent to Tarsus by Jewish brethren at Acts 9:30) Conversion of the Gentiles is recorded to have taken place FIRST with Cornelius & household (Acts 10/11), and then continued at Antioch of Syria - see Acts 11:19-24. When Barnabas saw the conversion of the Gentiles, he went to get Paul at Tarsus - Acts 11:25-26 to work with the church at Antioch of Syria. This is about 7 years AFTER Paul's conversion in Acts 9. WHAT does Paul say that he "shewed" all of these people from the time of the "vision" he experienced and obeyed in Acts 9 ??? Paul says >>> he "shewed" ALL that "they should REPENT and turn to God, and do WORKS meet for repentance."

Hey Mike, Still haven't figured out how to rightly divide the word.. Sad. You are correct that Paul did not eliminate good works, that is once a person became a . He just said they were not required to be saved or to stay saved. Eph 2:10 KJV For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Gal 2:16 KJV Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Rom 12:1 KJV I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Rom 12:2 KJV And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Do those who are left behind need to become Jews? I ask because I think the Dispensation of Grace ends at the Rapture.

D J It is correct that the dispensation of grace ends at the Rapture. Once that happens, the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom will resume (Matt 24:14). The most certain way at that point to be right with God will be to become a Jew (Est 8:17). Hope this helps. Grace.

@@ColumbusBibleChurch Ok very good. Now that brings me to these so-called “rapture kits” whereby today’s believers are leaving behind Notes to explain their disappearance from being raptured and instructions on how to get saved. Unfortunately, the Kingdom message often isn’t mentioned .
