I agree. Acura has actually listened when it comes to the RDX. Now they offer an RDX ASPEC with the Advanced package. Crossing fingers that they introduce that for the other models as well. Doesn't make much sense that you have to choose between aesthetics and features; why not both?

White ASpec w red ! Same as in the video. The metallic Grey and Red color were also an option that we considered , but at the end we opted for a white ASpec

Shame Acura does not provide remote start on these... but do for lower trim hondas... tf is up with that?

Right? I have the highest end tlx possible 2019 (except that limited edition one) but I’m not trying to brag more so agree with you it’s a shame there isn’t remote start

Every 2023 comes with Remote Start compatibility. Only the advanced package comes with the remote start key fob. However, you can use the AcuraLink app on your smartphone to remote start, stop, unlock, lock, honk the horn, or flash your lights all from your phone. This AcuraLink also comes with a vehicle locator so you can find your vehicle anywhere visible by satellite. It's pretty neat. I drive a 2021 Acura TLX, and I use the app every time I am leaving to get the car warmed up.

Yeah so essentially you download the AcuraLink App on your phone, and obviously there is a subscription fee to use the remote commands. You are able to locate your vehicle on a map, and use remote commands to lock, unlock, start/stop, and turn the lights or alarm on. It works using the cell service on your phone to communicate the signal to a satellite which then will remotely access your car. Even though you can turn the engine on to warm the car up, you still have to enter the vehicle with the key fob and press the start button in order to get it into drive. Just like with any app the manufacturer does not get access to your vehicle, as all the information is encrypted between you and the app. Until you activate the app on your phone with the vehicle there is no connection from the manufacturer to your car.

Personally, I think as the flagship of the entire Honda/Acura line, you shouldn’t have to pay a subscription fee for remote start outside of the advance model. Let’s face it, the ASpec is a $60k vehicle. Yes, I know it’s on Acura link, but after the trial period is over, you then have to pay a monthly fee. My 2020 Tech had the remote start included. Big miss in my opinion by Acura.

Do you find the red interior to be tacky or too much red? I’m debating between black with black interior or black with this red/black interior a spec.

To be honest, I actually really like the red interior, especially with the black Ultrasuede inserts. However, it depends on the exterior color. My personal favorite with red interior is the dark grey (liquid carbon metallic) with red interior. White with red would be my second choice. Some people find it too much red, but personally I think it really spices up the SUV and makes it feel much sportier. It really is a personal preference. I'd recommend checking one out in person and seeing how it feels to you. :)

Awesome vehicles, Honda/Acura products are usually misunderstood by people that don't know Mr Honda philosophy and history, or that Acura is an American brand of Honda meaning made in America by Americans for Americans. To do a proper review should require of prerequisite knowledge including Honda racing divisions, including #1 in F1 racing engine 2 years in a row, hondajet and various projects and a understanding of Japanese culture.

290 horsepower in 2023????? That's low for a car at this price....... it should at least has 350hp.....and top off at 450hp for type-s
