I just got this and was concerned that they initially had told me the price was $48,000 and I saw the sticker price was $43,000. I was beyond upset. This is my third Acura. I started out with the Legend in 1991, then the RL in 2006, and now the TLX.

This is the one! For the last 30+ years I have been driving a company truck. We have 1 car for weekends and personal use. AKA my wife's car. Currently a 22 Civic ST. I have declared when I retire in 5 years I get a new car. The TLX is my dream retirement car. It should last until they take away my license. Hopefully it will not have a 2.0 Atkinson cycle engine making allegedly 200hp. ( Honda Accord) because if it does I will be very disappointed.

This is a big improvement over the civic you’ll definitely love it! It seems like Acura is sticking with the 2.0T and 3.0T for the TLX I don’t think either will disappoint 👍🏼

i wish I could get the perforated leather seats from the tech in the A spec. for that reason alone I'm turned off by the a spec in the TLX. the seats are a little bit more livable in the Integra, though.

How much less acceleration is there in the AWD model vs the 2WD model?

The acceleration in AWD versions is usually better due to being able to put the power down more efficiently.

At 10:20 - so this car cannot permanently disable Auto Start/Stop (also known as Idle Stop)? That's a big negative.

at least it’s just pressing a hard button once. It’s not like having to go into the menu to do that (cough cough Subaru)

@@Blank00 Yes, but you have to press that hard button *every* *time* you start the car. Unacceptable. I don't want my car to turn the engine off every time I stop at a red light !!
