I ❤the Native culture. Great Hunt with Friends. Bringing home meat for the family and the Elders. I’m a white man from southern Manitoba. But I used to be a Logger up in High Level Ab. I met a native Hunter Les House who provided for his community. He fried up some moose medallions for me one night. Best wild meat I’ve ever had. I miss those times Your living the good life my Friend. You have earned my Subscription Keep these videos coming

Oh yeah hunting with friends making memories and feeding people all works out to an awesome time for sure. I bet Les had a boatload of hunting stories. Moose meat is my favorite meat on earth! Thanks for the subscription I’ll have another video up on Saturday of fishing for dog salmon then another moose hunt and bear hunt in the weeks to follow. God bless. Oh yeah I’ve got a trapping series from last winter that you might enjoy if you like trapping, also a few caribou hunts and another successful moose hunt from 2022

Awesome hunt! That pack out was tough, but you got those 10 feet behind you now! 😂

Thanks! Haha once we rolled the moose into the boat, but this was easier because when we rolled it in we had to winch it out to butcher it and that was harder than the 10 foot pack any day. I hope all is well with you, take care👋

@@enigmaticgwichin1630 ... That'll teach ya. Next time you might want to butcher it on the way home in the boat. 😆

For a future video series idea, could you explain the pelt selling/buying process. And maybe take us with you when you go to the fur buyer. And how you treat the fur once you get back home.

Yeah, it’s kinda hard to film the actual selling part, it’s quite private when it comes to smaller fur buyers buying for a market that they create for themselves. I think they would be worried that other trappers would demand prices they see me or others like me that fill specific needs for a decent price. Especially when the market price for some of the furs are so low. I’ve never sold fur to an auction before maybe I can film that and learn along with y’all on here. But if I get the ok from my fur buyers to film I definitely will jump at the opportunity. Thanks for writing and thanks for the input it’s much appreciated
