I love all these ladies- great players. Barr has played better and better and has had some great victories the last few months, despite he age. Simone's ability to turn defense into offense is a testament to her experience. I saw a singles match between Fudge and Castillo yesterday that was one of the best singles matches I've ever seen. Fudge held up like a champ through four of the hardest fought games ever. And Harris's consistency is really impressive. I saw almost no unforced errors from her the entire match. As Simone said she is so far without any sponsors, Maybe some insurance companies or banks should consider sponsoring her as a paragon of reliability and being there to back you up. Great show, ladies!

Whomever is switching between camera views has the remarkable ability to miss the most important parts of the most interesting rallies. /s. Can't you just leave the camera view constant, and then switch camera views on your (appreciated) replays?

Have they changed the serving rules? Barr's serve looks like a side arm swing with a major part of the paddle above her wrist.

Are the commentators correct in pronouncing Jardim as "Jarjing"? I would have assumed it was pronounced closer to "Har-deem" or something like that.

Simone pronounces it something like 'jar-jing' but I don't think there is anyway for an American to get the Portuguese exactly right. Jar-jing is the closest we can do...

One of the commentators is Jardim's husband, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say yes.
