@@antownemercer7552 Guess what! I heard all that mixed stuff about Italian bikes, but I made sure I was gonna have a superb ownership experience. Just stay away from a 'cheap' bike and get proof of the 12k valve check/adjustment service which is the big money job at £1200+. My 2014 RSV4 Factory is very reliable and cared for even tho I've ridden it more on track than on road this year, having had the valve service Nov 2022 with no issues whatsoever. I absolutely think it is the best bike out there, so much so that I now also have a 2017 RSV4RF with improved electronics package and the Aprilia RACE map with 201bhp. Trust me, once you've test ridden one you will want it, just make sure it's looked after properly by the prev owner.

Agreed. V4 and Crossplane 4 have a deep growl. The inline 4 has more of Yell (1000s) and a scream (600s and lower) .

I think inline 4s give a natural race bike sound. They also sound really good at high RPM. The V4 and Crossplane sound better in idle and low rpm.

Sick bike man. I’ve always wanted one. Well want the BMW s1kRR M before anything. But was gonna buy a new 636 recently. Shopped around a few dealers and found one at a Ducati dealer. Got to the dealer to check it out and never even seen it. Walked thru the showroom floor. The 636 was in the back of the dealership hidden with other bikes stashed away in their inventory I guess idk. But as i walked thru the showroom on our way to the back to see the 636 I stopped at this 959 outta all the sick looking bikes there for some odd reason I just stopped at that one and asked about it. The salesman gave me the scoop on it and after hearing that I just said screw it I’ll take it filled out the papers and left with it. It’s like the bike called to me 😅. Bike is a 2018, immaculate condition with some nice high end cosmetic mods that I would’ve done anyways to any bike (I already have 3 others) and it had 2k miles on it. 1 owner, some older lady. She got it there brand new. Kept it for a few years. Almost never used it and traded it back in for something smaller and said it wasn’t the bike for her. Atleast that’s what I was told. And for the price I just had to get it. It was a few grand less than the 636 and a lot more bike for the money plus it’s a Ducati. I mean I never had any intentions on getting one. I always like them but never in my mind did I think I’d get one. I seen myself getting the BMW or the aprillia or even the r1m but never thought I’d get a Ducati. lol. Great bike tho and glad I got it. Has a few flaws but that’s to be expected with every and any bike. Well my apologies for the story book but just wanted to tell you that. 🤷‍♂️ but still man I love that bike. I’m jealous 😅. Take care of it, enjoy it and ride safe out there. 💯

@@6GearCutloe yeah I believe so, but I still have that in my mind like should I have gotten the 636? 😂 I love the 959. I just can’t mod it atm. It’s takes so much time for any little thing, and you have to literally take the entire bike apart for anything. The mods are also crazy expensive. I won’t be able to even swap out the exhaust this season since I don’t have the time. Can’t get it done in a night. Too busy. Plus too much requirements to make any little change. Not complaining I love the bike just saying what it really is and no one really talks about. Too much maintenance on these bikes which also requires more time than your average sport bike. I’ll never ride this season if I start doing anything to it. Gonna have to wait till winter and do it at night. With the 636 I can get most done pretty quick on my own. 🤷‍♂️ oh well still think i made the right choice 😂 till it breaks down and I have to spend months just to change the oil 😅 well thanks man let’s see how it turns out.
