It's about an hour and a half to an hour and 45 minutes by plane from Tokyo to Fukuoka. Fukuoka to Tokyo is about an hour and a bit. Each time is different due to westerly winds. I'm from Fukuoka. Please come to Fukuoka and enjoy👋

I do not wonder that at Hakata there are not so many tourists. It is far away from the itinerery famous spots from the basic Japan tours. It is at the same distance to the south as it is to the north Tokyo. But as everywhere in the south the atmoshere is more relaxed. The architecture of the city is very modern and it is obviously that the investments come from other industry branches apart from tourism. It seems to me that the growth of the city is very evident. Hoping that you have well survived the spacy lunch in spite of your stomack issues. I simply cannot wait for your ferry adventure to be published. A sea ride is always a fun, especially if the sea is calm.

Gaooo, perfect timing Rion, I'll be there in about 10 days. I know you are scared of heights, but you should go on the Yokohama ferris wheel. Do it it at night and it doesn't look as high. I’ve always been intimidated by the “interesting” smell of motsu, but after seeing you enjoy it in Fukuoka, I’m totally gonna try motsu nabe one day. 😋 The architecture of Hakata Station & Canal City is calling me. 🤩 P.S. I know why you ultimately picked that sando… cuz it’s like a Philadelphia roll. 😆 And that hippo reminds me of the dinosaurs on Third Street in Santa Monica. 😎 And that fountain show & song is givin’ me Bellagio vibes, natsukashii~ ✨

Yes, you have to be very careful when booking Japanese hotel rooms, because there are still smoking rooms available and you might mistakenly book a non-refundable reservation for a smoking room. Those sensitive to smoke, however, might want to book an entirely smoke-free hotel.

I made the mistake once only to book a smoking room. I don't smoke so the smell of.smoke made me want to throw up all night long. I could not open any windows because they was none. I turned on the air conditioning unit and it just moved the smoke smell around the room. I went to convenient store brought air freshener made no difference. The smoke smell wax in the bed pillow and blanket

We have drove around Kyushu back in 2016. It's a really fun experience, so you should definitely set up a dash cam and visit Kagoshima! We are heading to Fukuoka in two weeks, so the coin locker part of this video fills me with dread. We might have to send our luggage to Izumi instead of using the lockers. >.

That muffin was a cup cake size. Two bites and gone. I would not recommend riding a hire bike in Japan. As a tourist you are not covered for any acident you have or cause. Plus no helmets provided. As a tourist if you had travel insurance they would not cover you for an injurys that you get. As a tourist your better off walking or public transport in my opinion.

there is nothing worse in the world than American Bread but Japanese Bread is very close to American one ^^V You should really try one of the German Bakeries like Linde in Kichijoji. P.S. most of the French Bread in Japan also is very horrible and super far off from actual French Bread which usually is pretty good.
