1050 ti 12gb/RAM here, my rig is using parts that are a decade old and I can run this at 60fps now without stutters or lag. They even have South African servers now which is really nice for me, I can finally enjoy PoE. I have tried to play with Dynamic Culling off but it really is required especially for weaker systems that can't handle many enemies and effects, chunking down visual fidelity to maintain a target framerate is crucial in this game, can't have insane stutters like that mid-fight.

Thank you for these settings. Be trying them soon. Was looking for an updated video. I can run at 155fps locked at 155hz 2k gaming, but my GPU gets absolutely fried at 80 degrees when many particle effects on the screen. Hopefully this will help :)

You should look into how Vulkan actually works, you can't compare it with DirectX right after switching.

you absolutely should have it enabled as well as dynamic resolution. for ssd, as long as you have a middle of the road ssd that isn't some sketchy off brand you are fine.

i remember being able to play at max settings up until kalandra league, after that i've been getting so much stuttering (cpu spikes) that it's borderline unplayable will try all this rn

Also make sure you delete your shader caches, minimap caches, and other temp directories after every new league update, or else your performance will get a little bit worse every league.

I was having issues with crashing. So, I followed your guide here. So far no crash! Thanks! However, I am now getting a little tiny stutter on the floor as I am running around. My character has no stutter, it is only noticeable on the floor. Any ideas to what this is and how to fix it? I have a 4090 with Rhyzen 7 770x CPU 32 gig of DDR5 ram. Edit: I turned on V-Sync and that fixed my issues. Was that input lag that I was experiencing? My display is a LG 42" CS 4k "Monitor" with G-Sync and 120fps. I'd prefer to not have to use V-Sync.

Read G-sync 101 on blurbusters, vsync on from nvidia control panel, off ingame, and fps limit set to refresh rate -3 is recommended.

I’m not enough of a Techie to run Bootcamp or any of those, but I purposely bought this computer with 16gb RAM and the best Intel card for the generation (3 years ago) knowing I would play some games. Played WoW and LoL on highest settings with over 120fps. I start PoE in steam, have my micro’s on my gear and there’s a haze to my character and swear I’m not getting more than 60fps, though I haven’t looked at a chart.

You guys can change whatever setting you like, bring all details to low, turn of the game sounds, anything. But the moment you play a build that shoots lot of projectiles in a very crowded map, the game will slow to a crawl. Try a ravaged blight map with a coc build or something like an ice spear/freezing pulse totemancer and you'll see. POE is a very unoptimized mess.

hi i have a question about fps settings. i have a new pc . i5-12600K , geforce rtx 3060 ti . so my monitor just able to show 60 fps , when ever i dont cap my fps or choose vsync, my pc start getting so crazy loud. even when i manualy choose 120 fps cap or 200 fps what ever , my pc starts getting loud. so i questioning my self if i buy a new monitor 4k or somthing like that, would my pc do these noice all the time ? i dont understand how you can play at such high fps without the noise issue ?

You will need to make a custom fan curve to to lower the fan speed with respect to your GPU max temp, it doesnt need to have the fans running max speed just because it can, check your GPU's max temp and ensure it always stays less than that by at least 10C. Alternatively, you could get a closed loop water cooler or the likes for your GPU which is what i did. My GPU is always between 40-60C and I never hear any fan noise because i made a custom fan curve for it that ramps up to almost being able to hear it. Also, if you cap you frame rate to your refresh rate your GPU wont be needlessly working over time to make extra frames that essentially do nothing but introduce screen tearing with Vsync off. You arent going to notice much if any input lag by capping your frame rate.

Well you probably have a cheap model of 3060 ti and you have to bare with it , you need a good aftermarket cooler for your cpu and last thing is good airflow in your case 2 or 3 intake in front and 1 exhaust in the back. Good gpu model like lets say rog strix won’t be heard at all even at really high temps, as for after market cooler for cpu you can go with cheap option which is arctic freezer esports duo which goes for 25-40 euros, has great performance and doesn’t make much noise.

"guide" , funniest video in a while :D clearly doesnt know anything about computers.. thinks turning down bloom has performance gains rofl... not to mention PoE is cpu-heavy game, doesnt matter if u run hiugh-end card on 800x600 low settings or max settings, ur fps will be the same. cpu is bottleneck, just poor game engine (wich hopefully is fixed in PoE 2) suggesting turning of dynamic resolution... lol ok

Strange that he have lower performance on Vulkan compared to DX12. I play on Vulkan as it have smaller CPU overhead from what i can remember. I can kinda see it for Nvidia cards, but definitely not for Radeon ones.
