the larger RR-pipe, some quality reed valve like Vforce4, does really make a difference. We also completely overhauled the engine block, replacing one side of the main bearing to roller bearing (instead of ball bearing). consider changing the sprocket ratio to your liking (I prefer smaller hill-climbs in sand-pits or in the woods) also consider to put an extra long chain and pull the rear axle to the maximum back for more straight-run stability and bit easier hill climbing, or pull the rear axle to the shortest if you like zig-zagging in the woods. what about auto-oiler, did you removed it and mix gas?

I just bought a 2021 Xtrainer that came with 300RR front forks the seller was going to install. They look possibly never installed. I'm 58 years old and the Xtrainer OEM forks work fine for what I'll do with it. I'm going to list them for sale if you're interested. I think it's a direct bolt on application and they are far superior forks.

I was hoping you were going to hammer on it from a stop through the gears so I could see if it sounded like the pipe was making enough of a difference for me to spend the money. I guess we ride different.

@@Back4DFilmz Thanks that would be helpful. I can hear a different sound from the pipe as you were riding. Sounded more like the 300rr. That area you were riding is amazing. Smooth and beautiful area. I would be wide open a lot. You can adjust the power valve on your bike to change what RPM the hit comes on. Although there isn’t much of a hit with the stock pipe.

I will get a video up on it in the next week or so! I've adjusted the power valve with both the stock pipe and the fresco on it, I've come to like the power valve turned all the way out with the stock pipe and 1/2 turn in from stock setting with the fresco!

I went with the 130/80-18. It ends up being narrower than the stock tire and sets into ruts better!

What back tire did you put on and what size? Mines a 21 and got 40 hours out of my stock back tire, but I’m ready for a change. I’m 58 and run the Peace Pipe and Muddobbers events in Ohio and Indiana.

I run the IRC M5B Evo tire in 130/80-18. Its a good all around tire but does really good in soft or muddy terrain! It would probably do well for where you ride!

Nice review. I’m in mi.too. I’m thinking about one of the x trainer’s. What kind of miles do you get out of a tank ? The only thing I wonder about is the suspension, I’m 175 with out gear. I ride the little O , and leota , and sometimes the get up to the U.P. Like I said suspension might be the only thing, but I guess it can be reworked.

The Xtrainer is a good bike, the suspension can be reworked or upgrade but its definitely costly to upgrade it. It will be a little light for you but it depends on how fast you like to ride. Fuel millage is definitely dependent on how I ride it. Trail riding medium fast I can get around 60-70 miles out of a tank, racing its down to about 40-50 miles. If its in a lot of sand it definitely eats the fuel up! I think for this bike it really matters how tall you are, because its a cramped cockpit for most 5' 8" and over. Have you gone to any of the Beta Demo Days? Its nice because you can get a feel for all the bikes! I did ride the 300 Race addition and its very close to how this bike feels, just most space to move on the bike!

AMP upgrade is well worth it. Lucky insert for the fork and re work shock.

I've heard you can even just change the fork oil to a thicker oil and that can work well

I went from the stock 38 jet to a 40 jet, left the needle at its stock position. I'm at about 500-1000 feet in altitude and I've ridden this set up from about 30 deg F to in the 80s. I think its a little rich for the 70-90 deg F range and would like to go to a 39 main. But it rides really nice below the 70s!

No , I didn't . It seemed to be fairly rich stock for the elevation that I am at! This pipe seemed to lean it out only a very little amount and gave it a lot more crisp throttle response!

@@Back4DFilmz Great video! I really like my 23 XT as well. I’ve been through 5 or 6 jetting iterations trying to clean it up. You’re essentially running stock jetting with the pipe now? It sounds like it’s pretty crisp. 👍

Its a Fressco Pipe, I also just recently put the RR air filter cage in the bike and it made a world of a difference!

How long can you hold a gear for longer on trails, or are u changing faster throught the gears also can you lug it for longer

You can hold a gear for a long time on a trail. Most times when on a single track ill just throw it in a gear and it stays in that one for a long time. It lugs really good and can pull it basically right off idle without stalling! I hardly ever use 6th gear, 5th will get to 70mph no problem and I run in 2-4th most of the time.

I have a 2024 xtrainer, and I am looking at a new pipe on it. Wondering why you picked the fresco over say the FMF or scalvini pipes? getting some more top end is awesome and I want more of that, but I am mainly looking to get as much low end as I possibly can. Just curious on your take on those 3 pipes? Also, what did you end up doing with your suspension? that is next on my list as well. great video!

I went with the fresco pipe because it is specifically tuned for the beta 300 engines, the other two pipes aren't as well tuned for the betas, more for the other bike brands. Fresco is also Italian and seems to be much more durable and has much better fitment and routing on the bike than the other brands. The pipe really woke the bike up and actually made the low end much better and smoother! It did help the top end as well, just makes the whole throttle range smother and more predictable. I have not done anything to my suspension yet, hope to here soon! I am planning on just re-valving it myself and seeing how it does. If I don't like it i will be putting MX Tech on the bike!

@@Back4DFilmz Thanks! just want to make sure I am getting the right one. also, what about at constant throttle just cruising along? the new pipe eliminate that? mine seems to be a bit jumpy/surges, messed with jetting a ton but still seems to do it until i open the throttle up, then its totally fine. doesnt really bog down at all or lose power. just looking to smooth things out, and you seem to have that figured out on yours.

Here seems to be the pipe I have, betausa.com/ab-11262.html I don't have any surging under constant throttle, I did however have it with the old pipe. I would also recommend getting the RR air filter cage, really helped the bike!

They are low. I'm 5'4" and can touch flat footed with the stock seat. The suspension is soft as well so it has good sag when on the bike!

The tank shrouds are too fragile and there’s no aftermarket substitutes. Sad.

They seem to be fairly durable so far, haven't broken them yet and have dumped it and plowed through trees many times! It is to bad that there is not aftermarket parts yet, I'm sure there will be eventually!
