This is the one to get. Here in Greece it comes as RWD only. In my opinion, it is better in RWD unless someone really needs AWD. I wouldn't get the msport package. Here you can get the limited slip differential as an indepedent option, so i would only get that and leave the rest of M additions. I don't think anyone would get a 230i for the track, so the sport suspension and the larger rimms and the dynamic steering aren't really needed. The base version here comes with 17in wheels that look really nice and alongside the base suspension will provide a much more comfortable ride for day to day driving, without losing much in handling.

Great review Steph and Jay! BMW, you have everything right on this vehicle except can it be equipped with the naturally aspirated in-line 6? I would pay a premium instead of this 4 cylinder. Sure, the in-line 6 may not be as fuel efficient but who cares!! Anyone who is willing to dish out 60K for a vehicle not worried about nickel and dimming at the gas pump. As for the CAFE requirement, just ignore those corrupted body…this is political and nothing more. Gas mileage on my 80s Honda was able to achieve 40+mpg so all these new smaller turbo engine achieving comparable gas mileage is not ground breaking.

I don’t think it’s a NA six in the M340 it’s a turbo engine. Turbo six for 392 hp.

maybe in the states its 60k (with in-line 6) fully loaded, in Europe it's more like 80k, it's a big diff for me personally, i dont mind this 4 cyl, its plenty of power 4 me.
