This is the first 5 series that is not appealing to me. Beside bad looks and enormous size, they cut costs on many (wrong) places. It seems to me that the accountants have been the main decision makers in BMW for quite some time already.

The interior of the 3 series g30 looks higher quality than this. First time that the 3 series seems like an overall better car than the 5 series.

- materials look criminally cheap - interior design is bland and soulless as it can be - tablet instrument cluster is both awful design and unpractical - exterior design is as if designers have never seen a bmw in their life, plus it's awful - that front wheel drive looking front on a car this big is monumental fail, and don't want to even start about hybrid/electric nonsense drivetrains available in this car. SHAME ON YOU BMW, please come to your senses.

If you think the car is ugly, then take a look at the rims in the configurator first - I don't know if it could be any uglier. Also, there is currently no light brown leather.

This is a complete degradation of BMW. And this applies not only to BMW. As a lover of the BMW brand, previous generations, I know what the quality was. But what can you do, this is the evolutionary trend of the modern automobile industry. Maybe this suits someone, I express my opinion, and fans of BMW and not only BMW, I think they will understand me. Guter alter Traktordiesel in seiner neuesten Evolution. Ich finde immer noch, dass Dieselmotoren für Nutzfahrzeuge sind und in PKW mind. Benziner gehören, aber ich verdiene nicht genug und muss ebenfalls durch die Gegend dieseln. Trotzdem mal wieder Danke für dieses Video. There is a saying: Diesel is for plowing, Gas is for cooking, Gasoline is for driving. 😊 Although I would recommend a diesel for most SUV-s, which are basically trucks anyway. 😂

@@bmw-m-power-fan1582 Weil die Ersparnis im Verhältnis zum Aufwand kaum zu rechtfertigen ist. Diesel sind in Szenarien besser geeignet, wo man ansatzweise mit konstanten Drehzahlen arbeitet, was bei PKW eher selten der typische Anwendungsbereich ist. Umgekehrt sind Ottomotoren gerade dort sinnvoll, wo mit wechselnden Drehzahlen gearbeitet wird.
