Amazing. Like scuba diving in hot lava. What I love about Rheinhold's amps is they have true character and texture. This is what sets them apart from the rest. There are countless high gain monsters out there, but Rheinhold builds the best. The man has a golden ear along with a genius for engineering, and his amps are built like Swedish cold rolled steel bank vaults.

We had Soldano, Bogner, VHT Pitbull, Lee Jackson, Jose, Jerry Blaha and all the other great amp wizards. L.A. was also the testing ground for Seymour Duncan. This is where JB's, Customs, Distortions, Full Shreds and Hot Rails were first pumped through these monster amps. This is where the ultimate sound was pursued and perfected and I was thrilled to be in the middle of all this as I rocked the Sunset Strip in a myriad of bad hair bands.

I don't see why not. try Sweetwater tell them exactly what you want (custom tolex anything) . im sure bogner will do it for you. Otherwise you can just remove the Bogner logo and spray paint it Black takes about three minutes and then put it back on. That's exactly what Bogner's gonna do anyway.

Looking for an ultra percussive, throaty, mid-focused, tight hot-plexi tone. So many of these demo’s use so much gain, along with a borderline thrash style of playing that it’s tough to tell if the amp is capable of it. But, this sounds really tight to me. It could be the Helios is the right amp. That or an SLO (its crunch channel is spectacular). But I digress….cool amp!

Sounds like it's got a lot moar klang than the original which always sounded a bit hollow and rubbery in the low end. Actually reminds me of a dude that was famous for his own mods that also worked for Bogner with how it Klangs whilst palm muting, like an Aldrich/modern mod. IYKYK.

yea i'm not gettin any of that from this one. Reinhold is in a class of of his own, he is an original and not a copy of anyone. But to your point one of my most assertive recommendations in the process was wanting to have that bite and cabinet thunk. this amp is beyond an hair metal 80's style jose circuit. it's surgical and brutal high gain perfection. As much as I appreciate the greasy sounds of that era, this ain't that at all. it's pissed and can get machine like in its staccato pummeling.
