Do you think it is worth upgrading from the sage dose control pro (with bellows added to the hopper) to the varia vs3 with the hypernova ultra S burr set? I'm getting decent results from the dose control pro and it works as a single dose grinder. Just wondering whether the extra £400 will bring a significant improvement in flavour? Many thanks!

My Mum has the Breville Smart Grinder, which is perfect for her to set the grind time once and then hit the button to grind. Baratza Encore ESP looks perfect for me, I plan to single-dose.

Is it better to get an combination espresso, drip grinder or separate espresso and drip grinders

Ideally it's better to get two separate grinders. I have a Baratza Vario that can supposedly do both, but in practice you end up wasting a lot of coffee trying to dial in the espresso setting after using it for filter.

For proper espresso grinders, that's as cheap as it gets. It's pretty new that it's this cheap. You can get a grinder for brew coffee for less, but this is the bare minimum for an espresso grinder.
