@@greggchaffin1596 for me personally as long as they end up clean by the end, stuff like drum height seems less important. I get what you're saying, how the one element being imperfect is indicative of lower standards.

You can say the same about almost any group in the activity right now. It's almost like things have evolved over the years and designers/instructors favor player comfortability over some arbitrary need to keep all the drums level, which isn't even noticeable in the context of modern drill design. There are plenty of videos from older lines if you want to just watch those. If uniform drum heights are such a concern this doesn't seem like the activity for you
