I am an owner of the spectral on cf 8 since end of May. First of all just a week after delivering me the bike they started selling the updated one for the same price. Other than that, I had only issues with this thing. Never complained. Since Thursday I had free time, put the bike on my car rack and drove to davos in Switzerland. Well couldn't switch on the bike for whatever reason. I went to a bike shop Nearby they checked the display by simply plugging in a brand-new one, still nothing. Batterie is fine, Display is fine. By turning the back wheel backwards I can see display is working. So I started calling the customer service. Since yesterday I'm dropping emails and trying to call them. Always on a waiting list and waiting for them to call me back. Imagine, this not even the start of a solution. I feel like scammed by a huge company where you cannot not reach anybody. Guys you are making crazy profits, start hiring people

We had a similar price drop years ago. Contacted Canyon and discussed it. They gave us the option of keeping it with a (partly) refund or sending the bike back and ordering another one. Also with a warranty issue no problems at all. It took a few days, but that seems to be quite common.

@@Jeroensurf already one week past and there is no response from canyon can you imagine. I can call the customer service, but that doesn't change anything. They are just trained to be friendly.

I emailed them for details on the CF 8 and I can confirm, they took about 1 week to respond. Crazy for a company like that while YT replied back to me the next day. I went with YT.

I had this bike for a year and its an absolute TANK. Trailish/ enduro feel plently playfull. Came with better brakes than listed for some reason (Hayes a4) Absolutely amazing, im now going to the Torque because my local trails are just too rough. We dont get much things without very pronounced steep terrain. almost no trails out here dont have DH parts that will make you think about having more travel and the probably benefit of it.

I know I’ve been looking at the Moterras as well. It seems like the neo three comes in both carbon and aluminum. I have found both and it’s confusing say the least. I also can’t find as much info on that bike as the other brands.

I think you’ll find it’s a full carbon frame, not alloy backend! Also it can come with the 720w battery!
