I got an nk300 because it was small and easy to deal with moving around in the garage and is perfect for local rides anytime I want to go out and have a little fun. It is a great complement to my touring bike but on an everyday basis it is the go to bike. I have also ridden it on the highway where it will go 70+ all day long and 88+mpg. I can't say enough good things about it. I think everybody needs one

I plan on getting this bike it’s on sale for 3k. I’m 5-10 135lb. Most small bikes I get on fly because I’m so small. I had an 05 500 ninja. It was heavy as hell and topped out at 120. Just looking for a fun bike to go back and forth to work and around town

Good bike for msrp but for 3k is a great deal! At your weight yeah it would move quite well I'm sure you will enjoy it very much for what your planning to use it for. Would love to hear your experience if you buy it. Appreciate you for taking the time to share. Stay safe

There’s a used one on offer up for 2,500 where I live at with 2,000 miles on it and it looks in good shape, however my wife’s uncle got his brand new for 3,500. I’m new to riding and I don’t have my motorcycle license yet but I’m studying for the course. The Harley Davidson cruisers look sick and interest me a lot but I don’t know if they are good for beginners like me, should I just go with the Nk300?

Honestly 2500 isn't bad as long as it runs well. Im a believer in starting on bikes that are cheap and simple. Ride it for a year and get a few thousand miles in. Then sell it for 2000 to 2500 and move up in cc. Its the Circle of motorcycle life. I love a harley davidson but not as a starter. You will learn a lot more from the 300nk in my opinion

@@MotorcycleDemoRiders Thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate it. I’ll go ahead and start of with the 300nk

What's the rpm at 120km?
@MotorcycleDemoRiders9 ай бұрын
7000rpm at 75mph in 6th gear. Had a few thousand left to go in the rev range.

I never liked the idea of messing with manufacturer tune and specs.....outside of exhaust. If a bike takes longer to accelerate you will get killed on a Wisconsin Hwy. Though posted speed limit is 70 people often doing 90-100 which pushes me to ride about 95mph on my bike ro stay ahead of traffic. People tend to be crazy drivers.

I can respect that mindset and understand your thoughts on it. For me changing the sprocket sizes to suit your needs is something I have done on every bike I've ever owned. For the 300NK I would prefer personally to sit at a lower RPM at whatever speed I'm at. It would add maybe a second to the 0 to 60 time but the benefits for my ride would out way the loses. Wouldn't be the same way for everyone. I've also done the reverse by going for faster acceleration and less top speed. Just depends on how I want the bike to feel. The 450SS/NK for example really doesn't need any gearing changes but I'm still going to go with a 44 in the rear to get a little more acceleration. Just me personally. Always love having the dialog with you and hearing your thoughts. I know how those Wisconsin Hwy's can be. Greatly appreciate you for taking your time to share!
