Dang it. Now you've got me thinking about doing some kind of lift on my '23 Z71, and then why not spiffy cool new wheels and tires! No idea what kind of price I could find in my area (northern IL) but the price you paid I would do. Things that make you go ... hhhmmmm .... :-]

I was just there 8/5/24 and they quoted me $2500 just for the lift. No dif drop or sleeves.

I heard Chevy increased the size of the new Colorado. I've been considering a midsize truck. Just the other day I saw a new one at a local dealer, stopped, asked a salesman to unlock it for me so I could sit in it. I'm 6 foot, 245 lbs. Holy crap, how small were they? Too small for me. Head room wasn't too bad. Had to duck down to see traffic lights because of windshield being a bit short. Best part was when I checked out the back seat. Then realized the stupid child safety locks were engaged. I was alone at this point and had to crawl o er the console headfirst into the front seat and headfirst out the door into the lot. Haha. Dumbass. I thought I was going to destroy the console, so props for making that durable. It was so tight in the back I had to get pretty forceful to get my feet to follow without my shoes getting pulled off. Pretty hilarious actually. Needless to say. Too small, not for me. I wanted to like it, but at least now I know.

This is the size lift I want, but I’m scared GM will track down any problems I have on drivetrain to a aftermarket lift! If a bigger off-road tire would fit on those rims it would look even better!

You could’ve done all that work yourself in a few hours. Super easy. Just pay for the alignment.

I love your channel and have inspired me in doing a lot of the same things on my new 2024 Chevy Colorado trail boss. I am going to do the same lift as you did, by doing the lift did you lose or gain travel in the suspension? I also was thinking about going to a 17" wheel with 285/70/17 instead of factory 275/60/20, do you foresee this being fine from your experience? Thanks and keep making those videos!! Love seeing the work you are doing. I just won the lemon law case on my 2023 trail boss. I was pricing out the Z71 with some options, but then realized I can get the Zr2 for a couple grand more. Did you ever think about the ZR2? It already comes with the lift/tires/wheels and nice options inside. I like the TB but you just are really limited in options. Not sure why GM does that.

Does having the rear only 1 inch make it uneven? I thought it could cause some rake since the lift is 2 in the front and 1 in the back
