I ordered a 2022 in early December of '22. My salesmen said it could take 6-8 months to get. My lease was up in January '23, so I figured that would be ok. I was notified in early February that my vehicle had been built and was waiting for transport from Lansing, MI. Fast forward to June and it was STILL "In Transit" (sitting in a lot in Lansing). I finally gave up and took delivery of my '22 Silverado in early June. After owning 6 Traverses, it was a bold move for me, but it was a great one. I LOVE my Silverado! Oh, and I got a text from my salesman three weeks later that my Traverse had finally showed up! So, as for when your Traverse will show up? I wish you the best of luck. I just hope you haven't already started paying for it!

Just purchase the 2023 Blue Metallic LT Leather and it’s smooth as butter. Extremely agile and super comfortable. I traded my 2021 GMC Arcadia to get this and I’m happy. It’s substantially bigger and dives better.

Just bought a 2023 traverse premier in the Sterling gray metallic. It has the redline and hit the road packages on it. The hit the road package give you molded side steps which I have never seen on a traverse before. It looks incredible. It was already sitting on a Hendricks lot so was able to buy it right away.
@CarsMadeSimple2 жыл бұрын
Very nice! I have seen the side step on only one or two over the years but it is not super common. I think the Redline on that color would be one of my favorites.
@MrConsto2 жыл бұрын
@Tom I have the molded side step as you call it in the body color on a 2022 Premier model but I feel it’s not quite wide enough, a little slippery and the seats are a little too far from the door for a smooth transfer into the seat or exit. It’s great for children because they have an extra step to help climb into the car. It looks really great that I will agree with and if you’re in a state where they salt the roads it’s a protective barrier from rusting the bottom of your doors. I wrote in to GM asking to have the step widen to at least what the Mercedes step width is and change the plastic to a rubber for extra traction.

Great video! We ordered the LT Leather True North with the Blackout package. Cant wai until it arrives! For what we need(8 passengers) the Traverse was the best option out there for the money. The only one better, would be the Tahoe and likes. We looked at the highlander, Paladisade and Telluride, and none felt as spacious in the 3rd row as the Traverse. Plus the cargo space beats all tthe other "competitors". As for the interior and features, it has everything we need and more. Its an upgrade for us from the 2021 Rav4 LE we currently have, so we quite happy with our choice thusfar :)
@CarsMadeSimple Жыл бұрын
Great to hear! I know the Traverse does seem a little more spacious on the interior than the Korean counterparts. It would be interesting to see how the Toyota Gran Highlander compares given Toyota emphasized the 3rd row leg room. The world debut was cool to attend!

We bought the 2023 Traverse in May and we updated the wheels too, but the factory told us it's not in production yet. We pre-ordered in North Carolina when the 2022 model was still available, but after a month of waiting the manufacturer cancelled our order and only allowed us to pre-order the 2023 Traverse, so may I ask when we will receive the car?
@CarsMadeSimple2 жыл бұрын
Every deal is different so unfortunately, I cannot give you an accurate estimate. Just about every Traverse inbound at this point is a 2023MY so it may be weeks or months depending on production status.

My mom bought 23 LT leather a few months ago. We both love it but neither of us realized there is no cd player. My mom is 74 and loves her Barry Manillo. Tried to buy and external player but none will link up to the vehicle. Second issue is that there is no in-car navigation system. Apparently this is an "upgrade" to the infotainment system. It is NOT standard feature which I find ridiculous
@CarsMadeSimple Жыл бұрын
Yes, navigation is an upgrade in many vehicles still. Some come standard in the higher trims. the LT Leather with Premium Package has the navigation. As for CD players, unfortunately there are very few people who want them anymore and technology has improved to the point of streaming is the most commonly used connection.

good vehicle and competitive based on engine and driving performance and size. 48 K is a lot of this vehicle but everything is expensive these days.

I like the way that this vehicle is equipped except…….., I would like the adaptive cruise control but I cannot see buying an expensive option package just to get it, along with options that I don’t want.
@CarsMadeSimple2 жыл бұрын
Yes, unfortunately you have to opt for the 3LT Premium package or the RS trim (or higher) to get adaptive cruise. I think GM needs to alter packaging to get a little more competitive in this aspect as well.
@dave19562 жыл бұрын
@@CarsMadeSimple Yes, on some other makes even the cheapest models include some or all of the latest safety features. My present vehicle has adaptive cruise control and while I don’t often use it, it makes me feel like non-adaptive is back in the Stone Age.

I have a 22 LT 3 cherry red tint coat. 23 Looks exactly the same.
@CarsMadeSimple2 жыл бұрын
I have seen the red color changes from GM over the years and many times they are very subtle. For example, when Cherry Red replaced Cajun Red Tintcoat you could tell but not well over video unless they were sitting side by side. I would imagine this is similar.
@michelehiggins26432 жыл бұрын
@@CarsMadeSimple interesting. A friend has and Equinox in Cajun red and I have a traverse in cherry red tint. We parked next to each other one day and couldn't see any difference 😄
@CarsMadeSimple2 жыл бұрын
@@michelehiggins2643 The only way I can explain it is the Cherry Red has more vibrance and less "pink" tint if you will. Easiest to see in the Sun or under certain bright lighting indoors. I much prefer Cherry Red myself and it's one of the best red's Chevy has ever released. 😄

Just ordered mine but the dealership said it will come 2022. No 2023 for long time. Anyway there is no difference between them in the full leather 3LT model with panoramic sunroof and all. It is difficult days in automotive industry where you get what can get and not to wait for better.
@CarsMadeSimple2 жыл бұрын
The order banks for the 2022 Traverse have been closed for months I imagine. There are still 2022's in transit and waiting for parts but moving forward, many that will be arriving for 2023MY.

Thanks for a great video, but this vehicle does NOT impress me any longer. I bought a 2012 LT Traverse and had it until 2022. Loved it ! But it lacks the WAH factor! I am no longer a fan of Chevy as everything they make is so blah. For the price value you should consider the Hyundai Palisade, now that has the WAH factor.
@CarsMadeSimple2 жыл бұрын
