🎊🦁 2023 Chinatown New Year Lion Dances and Parade in Boston, MA [4K]

Happy Lunar New Year! It is now the year of the water rabbit. Enjoy this loud and large Lunar New Year Parade, which continued for more than 5 hours. It is the biggest annual celebration in Boston's Chinatown, the 3rd largest Chinese community in the US. See the traditional lion dances going from business to business throughout Chinatown - hear the drums, cymbals, and firecrackers - and imagine the smell of the delicious food, oranges, and cabbage. You will see a lot of yellow (symbolizing wisdom), red and black (courage), and green and black (fierceness). Each lion pair has its own dance routine choreographed to express joy, respect, anger, or playfulness. Catch the dragon dancers resting. What happens when two different lion teams meet?
