2023 COPA Neil J Armstrong Ab Initio Scholarship - Meet David He

What do you know about the COPA Neil J. Armstrong Ab-Initio Scholarship?
Created to honour one of Canada’s foremost aviators, the scholarship awards $14,000 to one recipient every year to pursue their private pilot’s licence (PPL).
Join us in congratulating David He, this year’s recipient of the scholarship!
David is from Burnaby, BC, and has accomplished a lot for a 20 year old! David took on several part-time jobs to help his family and to support his dream to fly. He was recently appointed to the Prime Minister’s Youth Council to provide non-partisan advice to the federal government on various issues.
David has completed hundreds of hours of simulation time, has joined the air cadets, and will now be setting out for his PPL with the money he receives from the COPA Neil J. Armstrong Ab-Initio Scholarship.
