Comparing two similar air fryers is a great idea for a video. Here are some topics you didn’t cover: 1) Dimensions/Area inside the baskets, which is usually more important than volume (quarts). 2) The top panel - glass on the 5qt (which a few reviews said spontaneously shattered), but safer plastic on the 4qt. 3) The silicone feet on the tray - the 5qt has them on the sides of the tray (so the corners might scratch the non-stick walls of the basket, and the tray may be less secure), but the 4qt has them on the corners. 4) The handle design - the 5qt has the older style which some reviews said has broken off, but the 4qt has a newer, seemingly more integrated design. 5) Temperature increments - the 4qt has 5-degree steps, but the 5qt only has 10-degree steps. By the way, the 4qt lets you just hold the button down rather than pressing it a dozen times (with a dozen annoying beeps); not sure about the 5qt.

Thank you for the notes! The 4qt is the updated smart version and pricier than the 5 qt. What I found is the 4 qt is more integrated and has small incremental upgrades but in terms of cooking, they both cook similarly.

@@DUNGSTA I got the 4qt. I appreciate its design improvements, and I don't need the slightly larger size for my cooking (and unclear if that extra quart is based solely on the basket's area/footprint vs volume/height).

Everything doesn't have to sync to our phone...I don't need the extra technology. The 5 quart is great and has enough. Why do we need to look on our phone? How about checking the air fryer. It has a shake reminder. When cooking... people should be paying attention to what they are doing...live in the moment....there is plenty to do while food is in the air fryer.

Thanks for the video. Pretty disappointing that the 5.0q I just bought from Amazon came with instructions and QR codes to install the app only for me to find out it isn't even compatible. Your video cleared it up quickly for me after an hour of searching and trying to get in touch with Cosori customer service.

I suspect most people will be like me. I don't make complicated recipes, I just cook one item at a time like steak, chicken breast(s) or wings, french fries, fish sticks, hash brown patty, etc. I found a detailed cooking time/temperature chart online which is taped on the back of a nearby cupboard door. I now do all my cooking using the time and temperature combinations on the chart. Never ever use presets. They are a waste of time for me.

Hi! It really depends on the features as both are very similar in cook times and crispiness. I say that the general rule is get the one that has enough space for you and if you have a family, get bigger than you think you need.

Quick question about the 4Q: could this size be enough for a small family of 4 ? (fries, nuggets, etc), because the design is very compact and I would like to avoid getting the 5Q. Thanks

Hi! Sadly it's too small for a family of 4. I consider myself a expert at air frying and 4q basket size is limited in actual cooking space volume so when you do larger quantities, it won't crisp as well.

Hi Sara, sadly it will not or if it fits, it will be tight fit. . I ran this test on the 6.7 qt blaze air fryer from cosori and that would be the smallest I recommend for a 2 to 3 lbs chicken.

What is the minimum Celsius or Fahrenheit of lite one? Or both, if anyone knows?

I just got the 4 qt lite for Christmas. And I can tell you that it goes from a minimum of 170 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 76.7 degrees Celsius), to a maximum of 450 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 232.2 degrees Celsius.) And the time can go from 1 to 60 minutes.
