Another thing no one seems to be talking about is using the exhibition for extra blueprint slots. This can be really helpful early game when you don’t have all the blueprint slots unlocked yet.

Today when I was playing crossout, I realized I was terrible at playing crossout, then I watched this video. Now I am the best player at crossout, and everyone keeps asking me where I got my skills, and why I am so good at building, and can I teach them to be as good as me. I just tell them to watch this video, and they will get MVP every single time, just like me. I also score so many points that I level up after every single match. Havent made it through the entire video yet but posting as a quick note, Nvidia DLSS does the exact opposite for me, cant play without it. I don't know why or how Gaijin coded their new rendering engine but I have a 3060ti running on a 2k (2560x1440) 144HZ screen, even with all low setting and everything turned off if possible I get an avg of 30-40 frames with huge stutters while DLSS is off... basically unplayable. With all settings cranked TO THE MAX and all possible options turned on while just using Ultra Quality, I max out at 144 because of V-Sync and in edge cases wont drop below 142-140 fps. Edit) After watching the entire video I gotta say this is hands down the most in-depth, detailed, and well thought out guide I have ever watched on crossout. I like the way you presented everything even if you did just yolo the video.

Playing on Ps5 now for about 3 weeks. I am loving the game! I don't care much for the meta with the "roombas of death" running around like its a battlebots match but I still do ok. I like aesthetics AND utility. I usually run a Police Interceptor car thats very fast and has twin machine guns and melee on the front. Its great for the story mission because I can just outrun everything to get to different points. Lots of good info on here. I did move my melee claws out in front of my front wheels. Does putting a spiked bumper on the back help me from melee attackers from the rear or is there a better way to defend against that?

So, you should almost always have a bumper on the front and rear of your car. This does absolutely reduce the likelihood of your build getting framed instantly by some bot or player rocking melee (such as Borers).

I definitely go for the badge honour and so completing challenges is the way to go, then it is about whether you are patient enough to save honour for the pathfinder container, if not then blue wanderer containers instead, i've bought a few blueprint disks and expanded on about three blueprint/exhibition slots but I am refusing to get anymore slots unless Targem give away free disks, this is another Targem tactic to rip you off by wasting coin on disks and increase the grind, I would recommend to most new players don't waste coin on them and just create builds to pass challenges and suit your playstyle

I think leaving the allied harpoon on is an advantage when your teammates can help pull you from battle or to a base. As soon as they shoot the harpoon a little pop up tab says press a to detach ally harpoon

I build my own machines. I agree, as an advice for everybody, it's probably most efficient to use already existing builds and improve them. I happen to be capable at building vehicules in XO. What is cool, is that I never see my Miller build. Never. Nobody play my kind of build. No buggies that look cool with 2 millers. I am efficient with it. Often dominant outside CW because it's a 10k build. I don't want to see too much people just borrowing my magnum opus and face me with it efficiently(which might happen in the hands of good players). It's a great and fun build. And only myself is using it on the PvP matches. I like being exceptional. I can't help it. There is no way I borrow some else build. I can take inspiration of course but I don't even really bother doing that(the spying of others builds)

@@cardboardninja2429 It's why XO is a good game btw. It allows a good amount of flexibility on how to approach it. Like for the way to accumulate ressources. I personnaly do PvP only, and daily little sessions of challenge grinding. At the beginning I did everything badge challenge but the PvEs raids bored me to death. To me it felt like a chore and a waste of time. So I skip them. Because it's not necessary required, even for a efficient grind. The market is there to compensate. I didn't watch the entire video so Idk if you talked about it, but I personnaly focused on getting the tools to do every daily challenges. Which mean having multiple efficient and different builds to do them. First is the weapon oriented challenges véhicules, then I switch to a super efficient build to grind patches and fuel. And if I need raid ressources for example, I just sell what I got with my grind diet. I always buy copper, plastic and electronics. And I focus on grindung whatI like to play. Anyways, you guides about Crossout are good and I recommend them to new players oc. Even I can learn a things or two. That's why Im here.

@@KSpartan I'm always building. So lately it's been kind of a "low profile" build that's the name in the exhibition. Around an 8k-9k build. It has 3 AC62 therms with a couple of seals and Torero cab with 4 Omni's. I have also been running a low power score tank 8k (with armored tracks) with the humpback and the Averter with a cyclone.. Kinda seal clubbing when I'm top power score in match. Just building a six wheel version of the Omni this evening with an Averter attached to some tacklers and a specter on the front. Just under 10 k. It's a rammer with blades for the turrets. I play daily. Hope to see ya on the field!

Nice video as alwayas BUT please disable the microphone noise cancelation-reduction, whatever name that feature has. It's very annoying the cut-off to sound. Also because you sometimes speak fast, due to noice cancel, the mic can't cope and it cuts the begining of your words. Thanls and keep up the good work.

I'd like to point out melee damage does seem to pass though pass though parts. I've watch a car ram one of my frames and the frame survived but the hover behind the frame fell off. Maybe you could test it? Because I'm sure I wasn't being shoot at the time and the hover was 2 squares away from the contact point because the frame was a 2x6 light frame.

Melee damage doesn't pass through those parts - the part has no effect on collision damage... That said collision damage from MELEE IMPACTS can be buggy. I had a car where I put the frame for the front wheels space-gapped 2 pins away from the bumper and still lost the frame (but not the bumper) on high-speed collisions. This is likely due to how the game calculates impact point, and with the speeds involved it put the point of contact behind the bumper and passed that damage on to the next available part.

I don't understand the foxys crafting.. they don't allow you to craft the items shown without the having the item already. What is up with that. I was really disappointed to find out i really can't craft anything.

So it's just another money grab situation ... but it's a bit more complex than that: So previous events gave blueprints - the ability for players to craft weapons of the faction beyond what was offered in the battle pass. It looks like Gaijin wants to clear out all those old recipes (since those blueprints are consumed when the item is crafted). For example the Therm and the Trombone are craftable, but only through the blueprints. As for that, the Foxy pass will give you a couple of the items needed to craft with (fused threshers, etc.) - but this is again a money grab situation because they made sure to give you not enough of these to craft the Omamori, which everyone is out to get right now.

All of the promo packs are yours to obtain - though through the stupid system it will make you download the launcher multiple times (just delete that from your hard drive after it downloads)

Played for like close to 2 years here and there with some breaks, got some legendary equipment ( nothing crazy, some changes with f2p 16k storage ) and all i can say is this. Game gets real dull and the relic wall is massive, f2p players stop at legendary equipment unless they work their butt off in clan wars, farming is exhausting unless you play low ps melee and on raids with retchers, bedlam is a place where idiots go, a bunch of crybabies showing what the community of the game truly is to the core. Other than all these, the mechanics of the game are what kept me playing this whole time, somewhat enjoying my time but they were not enough to cover the rest of the trashy elements of the game. Farewell wasteland!

@@cardboardninja2429no, that's not even close to why. Either a durability buff or reload speed buff. Damage is fine, hitting the sweet spot is skill based. Quite the pompous attitude for a guy with a small channel and few subs to go with the view count. You attack all your subs or just the ones that bring up a problem you don't want fixed cuz your favourite metas would be distorted and you'd have to adopt a play style that isn't a faceroll?

When are they fixing the matchmaking. I'm consistently matched with people (as a solo queue) with people 1000+ ps higher than me. Is it balanced to put people without any relics or legionaries against those who do? There should be legitimate brackets and not this current wishy washy vague matchmaking. There's only so much I can carry my team before it's an automatic loss if I get blown up

There are a couple of things that can get your into a powerscore outmatch situation like that. 1. If you're in a group with someone of extreme power score. Match making goes off whoever has the highest PS in your group. 2. You're in one of those 'sticky' powerscore spots. 10 to 11k is a dangerous spot to be because matchmaker will reach down and snatch you up into 14k matches.

It didn't? Hermes lost base amount of boost, but now receives benefits from ammo crates - this could be considered a net positive.
