That's what I was thinking as I'm 5'9" so 6 feet long by 4.5 feet wide would be awesome. Well if they were street legal. I've seen some of the kei vans from the 1990's that could work. Rear seats fold in for an open flat space. KZbin channel Mike Festiva and his brother have early 90's kei trucks that are legal because of the 25 year and older rule. One is a Suzuki Carry and the other a Honda Acty both 4wd. They built custom rigs that weigh about 300 pounds that fit in the beds and can be removed if you want to use it as a truck. They're in Washington state and they are extremely impressive off road and can go places that only something like a UTV side by side or ATV could go because they are so narrow. Outside of that maybe a Suzuki Samurai could access some of the places they've camped on mountains.

It's a great van. And japan made bug-truck panel van based on this van. That's really great for travel. When I have money I will buy one in Bangladesh.

If you're in North America they aren't street legal. Kei trucks must be 25 years and older to be street legal.

No. Kei trucks and kei vans would need to be a 1999 model and older to be street legal. That's the ridiculous 25 year stateside law for kei trucks to be legal on roads with speed limits 55 mph and less. None of them are legal for interstate driving. This particular van has absolutely no use at all in the US until the year 2048. The new kei trucks could be useful if you own a large farm/private lot of land.

If you own a farm or a large lot of private land, yes. They are not street legal though. If you want a street legal kei truck or kei van it has to be 25 years or older to be street legal on roads with speed limits of 55 mph and less. None are legal on interstates. So the newest imported one that you can drive in the US would be a 1999 model.
