Hi BB131, I record using the built in software on my Traktor S2s (if you use traktor, on the top right of the HUD where there is the Side B FX, there is a second tab to switch to audio recorder). I use Canva/Pixlr to make the background images and then Adobe After Effects to add the moving particles and finally combine the finished video and the music in Movie Maker (lol it's old but it's way lower CPU, rendering 1h+ with effects and audio in after effects would probably make my PC explode). Hope that helps, there are plenty of good tutorials on youtube on how to use each of the programs.

@@Robot00 I’m not sure since I’ve never personally used beatsource. There are lots of options to put mashups together without using a mixer and CDJs (for example manually doing it in a DAW) but it is extremely tedious. If you are interested in mixing I’d recommend getting actual mixing equipment as it makes manipulating the audio files waaaaay easier. Unfortunately even entry level equipment is pretty expensive but you can probably find some free or cheap programs to use in the meantime

@@Robot00 Looks like beatsource is a streaming site, I only use local files when recording. The best I can find for a workaround is something like this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g2fFpZWbj5eLl6M . You might want to look around on reddit/youtube for some other tutorials

I uploaded one 2 days ago but unfortunately there were like 6 songs flagged which blocked worldwide. If only 1 or 2 I’ll just remove the audio for those but there were too unfortunately too many. I’m hoping to have a new set out in a few weeks but copyright flags on YT are making it more difficult for the videos to stay live :(
