So clever! I know someone who makes kissing balls, starting with a potato and poking live holly stems into it. She then takes a small piece of mistletoe, ties a ribbon around the base, then uses a corsage pin to fasten the right to the bottom of the ball. I really like your bell project. I collect antique cow bells, and only now did I realize that I could display them---I too, have odd spare curtain rod hangers on hand. Thank you for the inspo!
