I just got rid of my tuono and got the street fighter. Although this things is insane when it comes to power and technology . I can tell you the tuono is an amazing beast.

I love the look of the Streetfighter and rode the last years V4S, I can’t imagine how the full power mode feels on the 2023 model. I don’t fancy my chances on those tyres in the wet, even with the wet rider mode! Great review and riding skills as always! 🙌🔥

I'm so amazed that the streetfighter and panigale are as light as they are, even with electronic suspension and all the goodies they have. They are lighter than supersport 600s, which I can't even imagine how it feels to ride but the handling and acceleration must feel amazing!

If the swing arm pivot is higher and the swing arm is the same how is the wheelbase the same? Unless it’s also set back to counteract this.

I've test ridden Streetfighter V4 back in 2020 when they first came out, including taking it up to it's top speed. I'll probably release the footage later. What really astonished me is the superb handling it has at any speeds, the ease of riding, and especially the unbelievable stability and maneuverability at high speeds, which I never encountered on any other motorcycles before (and I tested a lot of them). So, yeah, Streetfighter V4 is truly AMAZING bike in this sense. But at the same time it's extremely impractical, boring and uncomfortable (due to vibrations) to ride at sensible speeds, fuel thirsty because of the unreasonably high gearing, and very physically painful to ride at high speeds due to aerodynamic pressure pushing my helmet against my face. Therefore, my conclusion on Ducati Streetfighter V4: it is extremely cool and fun bike to take for a test ride for a couple of hours, but it's really not good and pointless bike to own and daily ride. And if you want a bike with almost the same level of handling, speed, and fun, but at the same time comfortable, practical, versatile, and awesome to ride almost everywhere - get a Multistrada V4 than. But that's for another story.

Or an Aprilia Tuono V4 1100. Similar performance, much lower costs. And you get a cruise controll

@@biker_marinator5696, I haven't test ridden Aprilia Tuono yet, but I'm pretty sure it's about equally pointless like Streetfighter V4. All powerful and fast motorcycles without proper wind protection and luggage capacity are pointless. Except for the sportbikes - but they are purpose-driven machines.

@@motocritic Agree, but there is a touring variant of Tuono, with higher screen and lugage. You should try one if you get a chance. My other bike is a S1000XR, you probably know what type of bike that is.

@@biker_marinator5696, I would definitely try Tuono if I get the chance. I try every bike when i have the chance. Nevertheless, I believe that naked bikes and especially streetfighters are pointless in real world. Sport tourers are much better. And adventure bikes are hands down the best. Yes I've test ridden S1000XR. But you already know this.

What do you mean slide control? Does it limit yaw angle during acceleration or decel? Absolutely amazing bike. Ducati never fails to deliver.

They normally use algorithms to check how much the back wheel is spinning relative to lean plus the front wheel speed + where in the power band is (or some combination of these settings). It can’t limit yaw angle (I.e. steering), but it does limit power.

But does it have descent tank range? no. But does it tell the user how much fuel it has? ..... But does it have a place to strap down a bag/bags? no. But does it get really hot between the legs while riding around? yes. But does it do super well on the race track? yes. So why not go with the Panigale for the race track? .... Is it too much to ask all the performance of the Streetfighter V4 with all the sophistication of the Streetfighter V4, and still have those things above? All of the performance of the Panigale, without the fairings, and with ZERO actual additional practicality. What's it good for?

Pulling the fairing off a Panigale and doing little else, except slap on a handlebar, it's a pointless exercise unless you're going to put some actual practical things on the bike, like good fuel range, less crotch heat, an actual functional subframe, and maybe a little something for wind deflection. And if this is your not-a-Panigale model, the price should reflect that too. But lo, it doesn't.
