This is the best data-based metagame analysis I've seen for any format! I think that it's awesome that there have been enough major Edison events this year to provide the large number of data points needed to make this sort of thing, it really shows how popular the format has become. Makes me excited to see how the format continues to evolve in the future!

Are you able to calculate the conversion rate of these decks? Although Blackwing and Hero take the majority of the tops across the year, I'm curious if this is because of the traditionally much higher entries/representation in tournaments - or do still perform at (or even below?) their expected value? I'm curious what the data says, but my gut *feel* has been for a while that although both Blackwing and Hero are strong, they likely underperform (which could be a contributing factor as to why Hero can't seem to claim a win) and sheer numbers of entrants carry their performance. Similarly, when looking over replays of players who have topped/won with Blackwing, and not to discredit them and their obvious skill, but many even point out themselves that DaD and/or Whirlwind was "glued to their hand" throughout their runs - so running hot is just as important as the deck selection. On the other side of the coin, Dragon seems to have an incredible number of tops/wins despite seemingly having a very low representation, as just one other example that I'd be curious to see how well it actually converts. Finally, I wanted to end with I really appreciate this video - and all the others you do like it. It's wonderful to see this type of analysis. I really admire the commitment to tracking down and compiling all this data! It's a huge feat, and the community is much better for it thanks to your hard work :)

Men lie, women lie, but results don't lie. Vayu Turbo and Blackwings are statistically the best decks to use when taking first place. I see the format becoming more solved despite the fact that we have so much "diversity."

Wasn't the perfect circle team made this yeah with the intention of having the most topping players? So they might be all in the team BECAUSE they top alot and maybe not the other way round, but wouldn't be too surprised if that was a good strategy. Thanks for the video!!
