So true. FFXIV is such a good and inviting game and community. The devs play the game themselves as well as keep us updated and listen to feedback. They're also very kind hearted. The community is filled with mostly wholesome and kind gamers and it fosters an even more kind and inviting community by being just so. And the game. Man, where do I start? The story is absolutely bonkers. From the MSQ, job quests, and side quests you will be intrigued, laugh, witness friendships born and destroyed, cry, weep, and take you on a ride. The raids are filled with a varying degree of difficulty in their core gameplay as well as their mechanics and the hard stuff isn't in the least mandatory. The music, oh man the music is top tier. The raid music ebbs and flows with the progress of the raid in an unbelievable fashion too. So much so that the music crescendos when the raid does as well. The trailers are even a thing of beauty that leave me wanting to see more. This game is peak MMO

@@ravenna6543 i agree so much! For me it's for sure the story, best in any media i have witnessed. outstanding soundtrack, and the raids...no other MMO has theatric raids like that, it's insane.

It's not just about a game but it's also about the whole family of the developers and this community that we grew into, being there since 1.0 sure feels overwhelming to see how it became. Thank you for uploading this video!

What a treat this was to attend. The concerts were more than worth the $200 ticket on it’s own. Met some FC members for the first time and met many more people just on the bond of tanking the floor. I’ve never felt a sense of belonging more than what I felt there. It had its problems of course, but overall? It was perfect to me. I’ll never forget my time there and I will always aim to make the next one stateside

It's great to see them getting the recognition they reserve. I wonder whether this kind of response is unusual for them? I could imagine that Japanese crowds are more reserved in that regard. But I might just as well be wrong.

@@jackiechatt5198 i mean, he was hospitalized due to cancer while composing shadowbringers (irrc) a few years back, but I think he overcame it, most likely the scars left behind from treatment

​@@jackiechatt5198im inclined to agree. Those bruises on his neck, they seem to be scars one day then the next time you see him it's there again and it's fresh. Sometimes he also looks really pale. I do hope he is okay. I know this sounds cringe but his music means so much to me it helped me through the hardest moments of my life. I only wish the best for him especially in his health.

Events of this size have rules from the city they have to adhere to, such as adequate security, and most local police departments will let you pay off duty officers to act as security. I've run small/medium-sized anime cons in the Southeast and we had to do the same thing.

Yes and no it was fun but also mismanged as hell the venue was not prepared for how many of us showed up, merch was a disaster and lines for the event s were long.

Most people got COVID from Fanfest and/or Symphony. ///I went to Symphony and I've been sick with COVID since getting home...
