I'm dad of 2 young kids. Can confirm this is the ultimate Dad SUV. BTW, I traded-in my Mustang when I bought this. When my kids get older and get mad at me, I will remind them of the sacrifice I made! Great work yet again Mike!

I rented one of these for about a month back in December, and I loved it. I just felt it was super comfortable and I enjoyed the features. It's no ST, but for the average family these are pretty nice!

what really grinds my gears is that when you test these third row seats you never put the second row search back while sitting, so you're not testing the most important thing which is how much space you have in the 3rd row for legs, knees etc..

The design is old. It just came out in 2020. Toyota and Honda platforms are old. Old platform cars are more reliable. I like the Ford Explorer because it’s strong with good rwd handling. Ford need better luxury seats in the Explorer. The standard seats are in the iffy side

I doubt the Chinese version comes to America. The Chinese Fusion/Mondeo never came over. Plus, the explorer is on a new rear wheel drive platform that ford spent a tonne of money on. If anything, I see a mid cycle refresh for 2024.

Telluride feels more modern. That being said the Explorer is on an older design and due for a refresh.

outdated tech features, unreasonable pricing, questionable reliability with continuing recalls. Ford needs to do a better job. Almost no reason to buy this over Asian SUVs
