2023 GasGas MC 250F at Glen Helen Raceway

High revving FunFun action from Glen Helen Raceway. Extremely lightweight, great brakes, compliant suspension (even with the WP air fork front end), and a free-feeling (not to mention FAST) engine character, this is the bike to have if you're looking into a new Austrian machine.

Can you give us your feedback on the different 250 you've tried ? Which one do you prefer ?

Top three favorites include YZ250F, MC 250F, and KX250. They're all really good, but unique amongst themselves. CRF250R and RM-Z250 come next, as they're both plenty capable and can be made even better with smart aftermarket updates. Personally, I do not get along with the new Austrian chassis; the 250 SX-F and FC 250 would take the most work for me to feel comfortable. Any new bike is a good bike, but finding the right fit for you is key. Local dealer network, intended riding conditions, length of ownership, and budget should all be just a few of the factors to consider before plunking down cold, hard, cash. Cheers

@@CasMoto 👍What is wrong for you with the new austrian chassis ? i am really hesitating between the japanese and could not try before buying...Is the Yami harder to put in turn compare to Honda and kawi (the track around my location are SX lenght) ? Thank 😉

@@amikhael5135 New KTM/Husky are stiffer framed over previous years' and the engine ins't as free-revving. Really liked 2019-2022 though! Honda turns sharpest (almost too sharp at times in stock trim), then Yamaha in the middle, and the KX250 turns the least aggressively as it shares a frame with the bigger KX450...All three good bikes, but for SX style/length tracks the CRF250R and YZ250F would be towards the top of my list. My suggestion: Sit on both (if riding each isn't possible), check parts/dealer availability, and enjoy either one. Honda is a newer design (2022/23') so expect small updates for 2024, but the YZ250F will likely be all-new for 2024+...
