2023 Geely Coolray SE Sport - Car Review | Is it the best-in-class?

As a senior now at age 68 I researched all cars for several years and decided on buying a new 2023 Geely coolray Premium SE. Simply liked the exterior appearance and the latest different new interior and upto date latest technology. (Also suited my age better than the sports rally looking Ray.) Over the last 50 years of driving in 3 different countries all main stream brands of cars, GMH. FORD. HONDA TOYOTA. DATSON. HYUNDAI The Coolray is the best car I've ever driven and the fastest. And they are differently NOT cheap, it is first class and excellent value for money. I can't speak highly enough how good these cars are for this era, for thoes lucky enough that can afford to buy one. And that 1.5 turbo 3 cylinder engine and automatic gear box is truly a magnificent piece of engineering that is the best refined combustion engine ever developed since the first engine of the early 1900s. And its economical.

So many people on this comment section are very ignorant ,especially the stupid guy talking about geely being a car for the poor while japanese cars are for the rich . Toyota vios is made in japan ,toyota wigo is also made in japan and those are very cheap cars , even cheaper than geely coolray . Another thing is that almost everything people use nowadays is made in China . If you are a nike shoe lover ,most nike shoes are made in china, your iphones are mostly manufactured in China , almost all televisions are made in China. Personally , i love cars because of their exterior beauty , interior beauty and engine and geely coolray has all those things . I will never waste my money on toyota fortuner because that car is good for nothing . The interior looks like a mud house from the early 70s .. China understand how the market works and they know what the new generation want .. TECH AND BEAUTY

one of the benefits I get from what I do for a living is I get to travel to several countries every month. I travel mostly to the middle east, Australia, and occasionally china. It’s actually funny when people underestimate a certain brand just because its made in china. Little do they know, most of the japanese cars here in the philippines are assembled in thailand and its parts are outsourced from china. And some are actually made in the philippines, even. for those who haven’t driven a geely coolray, I highly suggest you test drive one.

Experienced riding and driving Coolray Sports.. The best.. Sa Comfort,. And riding Options..handling SA road.. The best.. Kulang Lang ang Bass boost sa Audio... 3yrs already.. No issues what so ever

Geely is truly a performance car. If you research difference between wet DCT and dry DCT you will know why it's a performance car. If your'e on to high speed use, you can upgrade the engine on your own that suits you and the transmission is no need for upgrade and changes. 👍

The "KM to Empty" will not show number if the car is not running, because it is calculating the numbers real-time depending on the driving condition, speed, and driver's driving style.

hi.. geely coolray friends.. last month i brought geely coolray 2023 new car. now i driven 1000km. as one month experience when i drive 75km/h speed or more than 75km/h speed car is getting start to vibration. do anyone else face the same issue?. what is the reason for this vibration?. and how to fix it. please need your explanation support guys.

we got this car no issues so far, only downsaide is,,, android auto fcking back airvents and adaptive cruise control which proton x50 have those, except for android auto ofcourse because china.

Almost enjoyed your video sir. Chill and describes the important points. Minor comment lang (pet peeve ko lang din siguro) - overuse of the word “really”. Minsan “really really” pa. 😅 when you hear it a lot, it can get borderline annoying. Try mo bilangin ilang beses mo sinabi. 😜 Try to throw in a variety of adverbs to emphasize your comments and it can be more pleasant to the ear. Not a linguistic and I don’t claim to be an expert, just my two cents. 😊

Many cars these days no longer come with fog lights because the headlights are strong enough. :)

Thats the point we should be more Visible on the road esp at Night i have a motorycle & a car our Lights (motorcycle) are open the whole day to be more visible to motorists. So cars also driving thru heavy rain or pitch black roads✌🏼👍🏼

@yvrytry5rc HAHAHA,funny,name all the japs brands,and I can assure you I/we all have it,even the American one's. but undeniably the chinese cars have all those comforts and techs that you are looking for and could get at a higher price on those japs brands. reliability?it was 2011 that the 1st Geely was released here in the middle east and upto now i can still see a lot of them still running and in good condition..if you compare how they use their cars here if there is a 'balasubas' in the philippines, we don't stand a chance. hence the vehicle survived all those treatments. (that is before they use the volvo tech). so how much more now?.. the problem in the philippines is the dealership that doesn't stack up the necessary parts.
