I bet that flea flicker worked against our defense every time in practice.

I can’t believe they actually spent some of Max Browns one week of prep time on a double reverse pass..

I would like to see a comparison of the flee flicker we ran against FSU with the one Louisville ran in the third quarter of the ACC Championship.
@rickyrougs Жыл бұрын
absolutely maddening that this couldve been a 7-8 win team if they didnt constantly shoot themselves in the foot
@jtdesverdad Жыл бұрын
You can say that about every team mistakes. Players miss things or mess up assignments that can change outcomes, even Bama and UGA. They just have the talent to make up for their mistakes. Every team on schedule made mistakes, too. If made less mistakes but ither teams did aswell outcome would be the same without improved talent or significantly better execution with opponents not improving.
@791482 Жыл бұрын
easily should have been a 8 win team

Excellent breakdown. George is going to need therapy after his night against Verse.

I understand the bias in thinking that DPI is always OPI when you refuse to acknowledge your defenders hold to stop from getting beat. We all do it so I don't blame the poor evaluation.

That Montrell run at the 41 minute mark was because of a true freshman Safety smh

13:43 how can Hansen down block to the right when he is lined up with his left foot on the line and right foot back? Wouldn't he need to reverse those to have a chance at that block?
@timothymartensen9040 Жыл бұрын
He can downblock like that, his first step is just the wrong way.

I don’t hate that we tried the trick play or the timing of it. If it worked we’d say it was brilliant. It could have. But, after watching your breakdown, how about just have former QB #22 Jackson take a few steps after receiving the pitch then have him turnaround and make a short easy pass to Tre. It would achieve the same goal. All that said… my hope is that true Gators will rally behind the team. Billy is going to get a year 3. Gators can be supportive or make it harder. I know where I’m at. Go Gators! 🐊
@2swoley205 Жыл бұрын
Watched it one more time. I think maybe having Max moving back toward Tre’s side of the field prior to the pitch would have bought him time to be able to get it to Tre

All great play designs must have the right spacing and speed of execution. A few small changes and the play's chance of success would have been much higher.

Florida State fan here. We don't like you either, lol. Your film breakdowns are great regardless of how I feel about your team.

I like the design on the 3rd down run stop on the first drive. The problem is Hansen's first step is outside which makes 0 sense on a down block. He was NEVER getting there with that step. If he's coached to do it that way, then fire whoever coached it.

I see why Damian Geiorge transferred from Bama. He would've been 3srd string there. He's a liability, yet Billy leaves him in.. 😢

I understand that he is under intense pressure on the double reverse but i still feel he should just lobe it to Trey side as he is WIDE OPEN nobody is even close to him.
