The move that Kaylia performs (inbar layout tkatchev) is her own emponymous skill the "Neymour". It entered the COP in 2023. The first female gymnast to perform a layout tkatchev internationally was Tatiana Nabieva in 2010. Hers was from the toe-on position. Since then all layout tkatchevs, are refered to as Nabievas because for a while she was the only one who dared to perform it on the womens side despite Nabieva only doing it from toe-on position. So theyre calling Neymours skill an "in-bar Nabieva" when its really just inbar layout tkatchev. I could see why thats a little confusing.

I wanted her to win too. As a casual fan, most bars routines look similar to me. Kaylia's routine was so unique like she was specifically trying more difficult things to be different and stand out, even push the sport forward. She did a new skill that is now named after her. It seems like most are just chasing points rather than developing the sport.

her bars are amazing, but don’t tell its that differen, the only thing very rare here, besides her skill, it is the dismount in combination. the rest of the routine is almost the same things nina, suni etc were doing last quad. a routine that is rare is he kexin’s entire routine, especially when she used to connect 1 1/2 to her dismount.

It’s her fault she had a connected combo she took out and opted not to do- she did it in the all around and also scored the highest score on bars that round but didn’t do it on bar event finals and that made the difference

@@AyybraiebraieI believe it’s because she didn’t turn enough prior to grabbing the bar. The FIG added a rule that catching in mixed grip without turning doesn’t receive the upgraded credit. I think her difficulty at max should be 7.1, she already missed the inbar nabeiva to park salto so she should have gotten a 6.9 but she got a 6.7. The ricna half plus transition would have been 0.6 + 0.4 with 0.2 in bonus But they credited it as a ricna + transition which is 0.5+04 with a 0.1 in bonus If she got the credit for the skill, she would have won gold by over a tenth

@@Ayybraiebraieyou need to start the twists before you catch the bat. they have never recognized this to her, so she looses 0.2 (0.1 for the E instead of F and 0.1 of connection E D and not F D) she also lost the 0.2 from nab to pak, so she got 6.7 difficult instead of 7.1

A kip is the swing under the bar where they lift they're feet up and end up in hip support. The cast is the push off of the hips into a handstand

Qiu Qiyuan won and rightfully so(conclusively so), she made her connections perfectly, Neymour missed em and as wonderful as those connections are, there are noticeable deductions like flexed legs, leg separation on some of the transfers legs separated on dismount, if you watch Qiu's routine the form was exceptional and only that close catch on layout Jaeger and step on dismount were noticeable deductions and neymour was still not much behind her in execution (which says a lot about quality of judging that exceptional lines aren't distinguished as much). So in conclusion Neymour is fab but Qiu had the bar routine of the finals and she won decisively.

that was not kailya's main routine , she was still not confident in it . her first entry skill should've released into the lower barre and keep connecting from there . she lowered the dificulty on her own...that's why the deductions affected her overall score .if she peformed her main routine the score would've been around 15.500 you can wach her olympic routine and compare both... kzbin.info/www/bejne/lXyVlo1vd5h3aJI

I am fine with Kaylia not winning here (mostly due to missed DV) It takes some of the pressure off heading into her 'home' Olympics. There has already been so much attention around the controversies with the French federation drama. I hope she can just train, tidy up, get consistent, improve endurance for the dismount and win in Paris.

It's not technically "home" Olympics for her since she switched nationalities, if anything it's an added pressure on her to compete in France under a different nationality! Hopefully she'll handle it well...

Please notice! You made a mistake: She's lives in France, Trains in France and so on. His mother is French, his father is Algerian. She took the Algerian Nationnality because Leaders of the Gymnatic French Federations did bad really weird things and did not authorize her to be presented as a French competitor. You'll see it on the new if you search. She won for Algeria and it's a good thing since we did not do what we should.

thank god your opinion it’s not the right thing! that’s a sport and if you don’t go 10/10 and be perfect you’ll lose. look at those flexed feet, leg separation, missed handstands. qiu’s routine was at least -0.1 robbed in execution and she still won. by the way she can upgrade her routine to a 6.9 too 😬😬 it’s gonna be wild when she becomes olympic champion
