Thank you for what you said about bags being ‘investments’. Bags do not pay dividends or interest and you only have a chance of making money on them when you actually sell. I love bags but they are not part of my investment portfolio.

Hey Lou. I had a metallic gold bag in Y2K times. It was a Juicy Couture, full grain leather, gathered baguette. Juicy was having a moment, with their velvet track suits and bags. Who remembers? I loved it. It paired with everything, like a neutral, surprisingly. The Celine box is the new “it bag” IMO. It would suit you so well. The Birkin 35? Nope, only for tall girls. I love your Tiffany Blue. What a dream bag. I got my most recent Chanel classic flap in medium, instead of small, because, since I am your height, medium is my jumbo. Chanel 22 has a design flaw. Some KZbinrs are saying the chain rubs bad on the leather and tears it.

When I moved to Paris so many girls had the Celine Triomphe. I tried it on at the store and didn’t see the attraction it felt like it was just a big fat logo on a basic bag…but the more I see it the more I like the minimalist shiny box look

I’ve never been big on fringe , sequins , embellished or anything like overly done either but I like just a little accent like on the YSL camera bag( it still looks classy to me and casual , something subtle like that . I can not stand when ppl take old vintage LV and add fringe and stuff( I won’t say it’s tacky because we all have different taste , but I don’t get why ).

I love your style and I am so happy for you and your fiance! I have had a few metallic handbags in my life. They are beautiful and really elevate your wardrobe however the metallic coating or dyes tend to wear quicker where the leather bends and folds and is handled the most, which is annoying. I like the Chanel 22 bag (small) in looks but I prefer bags that can stand on its own rather than flop over. I am sure a Samorga bag liner would help with that but the chain strap would make the top flop over. So I ended up buying the Loewe Flamenco "Clutch" (not too huge) and purchased a gold chain strap, a short black top handle and gold attachment rings for options . Samorga didn't have a Flamenco Clutch size yet, so I ended up using my Samorga liner for my small Puzzle bag and it works almost perfectly in the Flamenco Clutch. It can stand on its own. You got me hooked on Samorga!

Am a fellow lover of green and yellow CFs. The 22P pastel yellow in lambskin with LGHW is the best yellow I have seen from Chanel. It pairs well with the 21C mint green.

Lou, your hair looks amazing. Did you lighten it? I'm definitely on the BBE train this year! Contenders are BV medium Jodie, Chanel XXL CF, and Loewe just released the XL Paseo which is sooo me. And I will definitely be pulling out my Maxi single CF that I scored last year for $5500 in excellent condition from Fashionphile to get ahead of the surge in prices of BBs. Yes to Metallics...I've been eyeing the mini Jodie in gold. I purchased the Gucci 1955 in white as an alternative to Celine's box and it's such a lovely bag, no regrets. The Chanel Trendy CC has slowly become a favorite of my collection and I agree that it checks all the boxes and I could easily argue it as Chanel's best. Such a great video, you're spot on! 🤗
