I’ve kinda lost my excitement for the new models. One reason is that the prices have climbed to where I’m thinking it’s just to much for my budget. The other reason is all the blacked out bikes with dark paint jobs. I’m more of a fan of bright colors and chrome…

Yes, chrome is becoming a dying breed. You don’t see too many newer bikes with it on it. I prefer a mix.

Yeah I don’t get excited at all anymore. Used to go into the dealer and look around but don’t even do that anymore. I have the last motorcycle I’ll buy so that’s where I’m at. If I bought something else now it would be used anyway.

Ron Isley. I agree ny next HD will be used. I traded my beloved 2019 Heritage Special to get on my 2022 PAS which I love mind you. But thats it for new for now. Next big twin will be a used one for cash.

Good to see you out Colin. There's always an I wish when Harley is releasing a new year group,, but, I am still loving the old school Harley. (probably why I bought the 2022 Heritage). Harley has lived and grown with the sound, look and finish and ride that we enjoy. A few extras like an electric windshield and reverse would not hurt my feelings though.. Be well and safe....Bob

I am hoping we will see the RA975 ADV bike. Not sure what the RA stands for yet. HD did well with the PA I hope they continue with ADV offerings. Im sure there will be a 120 anniversary line up of colors and limited releases.

I thought it was for the Nightster S, but I could be mistaken. Don’t know if they will do 975 PA this year. We shall see.

Nothing excites me more then looking at a $28k msrp harley and the dealer telling me the OTD price is $40k...

Good thoughts. I am also one of those people who does not get excited about what Harley or any manufacture is making. I have to agree the hype has fallen off because most people just have enough money to pay the bills they have and feed their families. And as you said who would trade their motorcycle just to get another color? Just have your current bike painted. I am sure there will be those people who just always must have the latest and greatest will rush to buy. The only thing I hope that Harley will do is to put their 131 engine in all of the touring models and a 150 in the new CVO's. Well time will tell I for one do not think we will see anything earth scattering. Ride Safe

If they put the 131 in, you’ll be looking at 50k and higher for a CVO. That’s one expensive motorcycle. One day, they’ll listen to you about the electric windshield. 😎

Im always excited to see the new models. Im a year or 2 away from a new bike. I currently have 90k on my Victory CCT. Im excited to try out the next CVO, and of course the Persuit is just like riding the Vic. Im not in a hurry so Im going to sit back , enjoy the competition and ride em all! Ride on🍻

I've lost interest in harley. Prices have gone up crazy fast and nothing really new to show for it. I've said before got a bmw this past yr as a 2nd bike to my heritage and man it's opened my eyes to how much all these other mfgs offer for the $$ spent. I'm more excited these days watching to see what they come out with. Hope harley does something new this yr.

Hey Colin good to see you on the road. Happy New Year to you and fellow subscribers. I havent seen nor heard of much coming in 2023 that excites me much. Certainly nothing that excited me as much as the Pan America did in 2021. Low Rider ST was exciting last year. Had there been no PA I would definitely be on an ST now. I hope to see the Bronx this year. That being said the Roadster S with the 120 HP Rev Max would be exciting. Oh yeah the 117 in the Road King is exciting. That all being said my coming year is going to be taken up with as many weekend backroad rides in Pa as well as our neighboring states as possible on my 2022 PAS. If I dont have 30,000 miles on it by the end of summer shame on me. It currently has 10,000 I put on from August until the snow and salt flew here in NE Pa. Until then my KLR and Sporty will fill the Road fever. Maybe I will run across your path this season and have a ride and coffee. Or maybe you come up to Pa and we'll ride PA Rte 44. Take care.

Hope you have a safe and productive 2023. Starting on Tuesday if previous years' trends continues, Harley will start shipping the 2023 models that do not have changes. That would tell us if the speculations are true. If we do not see this week a Road King standard anywhere, then the rumors about it demise may be true. It would be a shame if they killed that model.

Still don’t see them putting the Rev Max in a tourer. The bike would have to be a complete redesign if they go that route. The touring bikes are just to heavy.

You know any HD dealerships in MD that are still selling their bikes for MSRP and not doing Mark Ups like Old Glory in Laurel MD 🤦🏻‍♂️ $7K mark up on their street glide special .. SMH

That’s insane. I was recently at All-American and while the bikes were higher(new models), I didn’t see an additional mark-up. I didn’t really look either. I know last year, they weren’t doing that at the dealer.

I used to go to the dealer and love to look at the new models. Not anymore. For me the 2023 release was a huge disappointment two-fold. Not only did I not like much of what I saw but even if I did I wouldn't touch those prices. Nothing but a huge disappointment at Harley-Davidson this year.
