Ignore the negative comments. People like different machines, and setups. Also, you’ll get better, and better the more you ride. And, it will get to where scratches, and dents will give your machine character. Haha I live in Gilbert, between the Rock House, and Devil Anse trails. Love to see people travel here and enjoy our little National Treasure.

I'm with you Brother, after 5 or 6 times of riding my bike past the lakes on hot humid nights and having to scrap the goggles because of dead bugs I thru a windshield on that bike. that's a lot of protection on a motorcycle. The only heat if course unless you have a heated suit come from your engine and that works pretty good for me. I mid shift and keep my legs tight around that motor.

So my honest opinion is that it is a great machine. I like that they were able to keep a short wheel base for a four seater. I really do love this machine but there are some cons. My biggest con is the noise in the cabin. Since the motor is centered between the seats, it causes for the noise to be louder. Now I was use to this because I use to have a Kawasaki a Teryx but was hoping for it to be a lot better. You will notice in this video that I had my ear protection on which was perfect. Also a full face helmet would do the trick. The other con is that in the summer the cabin can get warm due to the energy being in the center of the machine. Again nothing new to me because the Teryx was the same but it is something to consider. To be honest I was torn between the Rmax and the General. If you watch the video I did last year, you will see that I got to ride in my buddies 4 seater General and I really enjoyed it. All in all they are both great machines but I decided on the Rmax because I could pass up the deal and it already had all the stuff I wanted on it plus more. Plus it just looks mean. I’ve found that the best info you can get on the Rmax is to join a facebook group. They have all kinds of info on there and most are will to help out with questions. Also you can click on the 🔍 button on the top of there page and type in a word like “oil change” or “head light” and it will search previous conversation about those topics. I hope this info helps you out. I appreciate you watching the video!!!!

I just bought a yamaha wolverine RMAX 1000 2 XTR and I am wondering what do I need to do to make mine street legal so I can go down roads like you guys
@hisblendedcountry31319 ай бұрын
All depends on what state you live in. In WV you can ride sxs and 4 wheelers on the roads without them being registered but you have to abide by their street laws pertaining SxS. I live in North Carolina and they just past the law two years ago that we can drive on roads that are 55mph or less as long as it is street legal and registered with NC. Just depends on what state you live in.
@hisblendedcountry31319 ай бұрын
The biggest items that most SxS don’t come with from factor that most states require are turn signals, horn, and windshields. I put the Ryco turn signal kit on mine and I always made a KZbin video of my install on my channel

Most of the guys that I ride with have the 5150 Whip model 187. If you want color changing get the 187 models, if you just want a single color, they have some options they call “hyper” which are supposed to be even brighter. If you do buy through them, you will need to add their wiring harness, and then a rocker switch to the order which is an add on. I personally bought Kymco whip lights off of Amazon. a.co/d/cO5mR3S

Since this was my first ride with my Rmax I was nervous if I had made the right choice. I precisely had a Kawasaki Teryx and decided to upgrade to the Rmax which was $10,000 more and I had this small buyers remorse in the back of my head that it wouldnt be much different riding then my old Teryx but the Rmax “didn’t disappoint me”. It far surpassed my previous Teryx.
