The Hobonichi order being unboxed contains items for both myself and for my adult daughter- we have both adored our Hobonichi planner lovelies for the past several years, and we were excited to order some new goodies for 2023. Thank you. I have been beating myself up for over 2 years for not journaling in the 5 year techo for many of the same reasons you acknowledged. You reminded me that life happens and we don't have to do it all.

I have learned that we have to give ourselves grace- life is not always rainbows and unicorns and that is all part of being human. I am sorry to hear your world experienced some hardships/losses, and I hope things are headed in a more positive direction for you. For now, in case you need to hear it again, I give you permission to, completely guilt free, let your old 5 year techo go.

i dont follow you but i watch hobo hauls and i remembered watching your haul last year. i remembered that you lost your mom last year and im just overwhelmed as i lost my dad in july this year suddenly, never had a chance to say goodbye or had any last moments with him, never had a chance to tell him i love him. how do you cope? especially when hobonichi time comes ard yearly....i can see you have great family support, thats so nice for you.❤

Yes, trauma from trying to order when it went live. I had aurora duty in my cart! Well when I finally went to check out, it was gone! Still waiting for the restock. You are the second person I have watched today that said they should make the cute coves in the Mega Weeks. I totally agree! Then I would not buy extra weeks

Order anxiety was definitely real this year. The Aurora Duty Weeks is so beautiful- I really wanted it as well, but I need a Mega. Makes no sense why the Mega does not get included with the printed covers. Fingers crossed for you that you get the Aurora Duty at restock. 🤞🏻

I appreciate the time you and your husband spent to make this video. This will be my 2nd year of using the A6 Techo. I ordered the Betsy Neon Purple cover, as well as the Betsy Neon Blue A5 for journaling. I own the HP Sprocket and Canon Selphy and prefer the Selphy. 🌺

Hi! I love your video. Love everything that you got! I've placed an order on hold as I'm waiting for the One Piece release but honestly I'm still trying to decide what i'm getting! I have the Kodak Mini 2 Retro photo printer and I love it! I think the prints are true to colour and it holds up pretty well. It doesn't come with sticky backing but I use a Tombow tape anyway which I don't mind.

I completely hear that- money is tight all around. I save a little every month, all year, in order to purchase Hobonichi. I, literally, think about/worry if I will be able to afford my planner goodies throughout the entire year. Maybe the Marie cover you want will still be available at a time when your finances are in a place that would allow you to order. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I had that experience of ordering the wrong thing - I ordered an a6 instead of a5 lol. The shop experience this year was less than ideal. I always do the hold shipment option for at least 48 hours now so I can look at my order and make changes. I ended up adding a bunch of stuff once I had more time to think and the website was loading properly haha.

Wish Hobinichi would create covers without the pen loop closures for the larger planners.

I have heard several other people voice this opinion as well. For me, I greatly dislike pen loops on my leather covers (any size, including TN covers), but they don’t bother me as much on the fabric covers. Makes no sense- I know.

I love your haul! I ordered two weeks, the moomin and maha, an A5 avec and day free. I ended up with leftover A6, so I controlled myself there, except for a Coc. I am changing my plant journal into A5, avec is my family planner, one weeks is my edc, and the other is my spiritual. I didn't end up with any English versions, but I cover all the Japanese stuff anyway, yes, I am a sticker whore, but I do not do cute. My daughter is the same age as yours, and I was so drawn to Marie, but I ended up with Helalmapuu, still struggling with that decision!

Wow, I love your choices and how you plan to use each planner! I love my stickers, too (mostly functional)- just no sticker kit layouts for me. Lol Like you, I am struggling with not having purchased the Marie cover- I might still buy it to use at home…I think it is the colors, it just speaks to me. (And) Yay for same-aged adult daughters…my oldest is 28 and my youngest just turned seven. 😉
